Okay, now I don't want to sound like too much of a gimp so please indulge me.
My drummer wants to do this Hip song "Twist my Arm" but I can't seem to get the rhythm down and there's some kind of a pull-off or bend in there that I just can't get.
If some one could take the time to post a quick lesson vid on YouTube I would greatly appreciative. Show my what I'm missing!!
Dunno why... but I always remember this birthday... every year..... Hope it's a beautiful one for you Gord!!

Love these guys. The show is hilarious. Their live performances are great. They're embarking on a large tour (for a folk-parody duo) which includes two nights at Massey Hall in Toronto. I'm going to see them in St. Louis at the Fox.
What the folk!

....until they discovered it owed back taxes.

I'm not the biggest fan of these, but the nominations for the Junos are out: http://www.junoawards.ca/PDF/2009-nominees.pdf
Despite the nods to Nickelback and Simple Plan, there are a few Hipbase favorites up for awards (Feist, SRB, Kathleen Edwards, Hawksley Workman...
...and I'm really happy to see Sloan up there!)
Snacktime! (which features Gord) was nominated in the best children's album of the year category.
on the home page to hipbase, they have a photo of the the guys for the concert in London.
is that a new promo pic?..if so, it looks great!
Brad
are there others to show?
Their tour is about to be announced tomorrow.
...And like hell I'm not partying and going to Kiss.
If four kids from Cleveland made it to that concert in Detroit under unbelievable circumstances...
Then a kid from Saint John is getting to Halifax for some summer rock with Gene.
Rockwisdom.com has posted the top 100 Rock song quotes. I've posted the top 50, but feel free to click the link to see the rest. I know we're not going to read every single one, but they're fun to browse through. Also, I would never have guessed the #1, but it is an awesome quote when you really think about it. Paul Simon, genius.
