"Rihanna is so important to our culture, to pop music," he said on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Tuesday morning.

"I feel like she is the most important artist in music and has the most potential. Her taste level and her age... She has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time. In that sense, I feel like that's my baby sis. I would do anything and everything to help her in any situation."

Am I the only person who hates Kanye West with a passion? I guess I couldn't help myself from reading the latest bullsh*t coming out of the guy's mouth. I turned on my computer and these quotes were right there in front of me. Kanye is a piece of sh*t, talentless hack. If Chris Brown did hit Rihanna, than he's a piece of sh*t as a human being. Having said that, Rihanna is another talentless hack, just like Kanye and Chris Brown.

Quote:In the journalism game, yelling “Breaking News” is akin to shouting fire in a crowded theater — it better be warranted. But to heck with that: Breaking News! MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice are joining forces for a one-night-only joint show. “Hammer Pants and Ice” goes down Friday, February 27, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. at the McKay Events Center in Orem, Utah.

We can’t possibly answer the inevitable “why” question, but here’s how it will all go down: Hammer is bringing 24 dancers and a full choir; Ice is bringing … himself as far as we can tell. It is evidently the pair’s first show together since the early 1990s, when both were whole-scale radio stars....

I hope this gets taped.

...I've reached a point in my life where the board is just no longer a priority. New child, new house...life has a different and happier meaning to me now. It's been a blast. I've pissed a few people off here and there, but I never meant any harm.. I respect and care about everybody that's ever been on here..(ok..well..maybe not that crazy chick who worked at an amusement park)..some I've had more fun with than others..(you know who you are)...You'll be missed, but alas, the time has come...

and in the end..the love you take...
...is equal to the love you make.

I know that the inevitable "awards shows are a farce" post will inevitably show up. Anyways, I just watched the telecast, and I am so glad they've moved away from long boring speeches and focus on performances now.
I was surprised to see that Plant/Krauss won so many Grammys... not that they didn't deserve it... but it was released in October of 07 -- I'm not sure what the window of eligibility is, but anyways... kudos.
This was the showstopper for me though:

I'm looking to buy two tickets for a Toronto FC home game. The game would have to be in one of the following months - June, July, August, or September.

Take care,

It's about bloody time! And we thought the Hip were taking it slow with their follow-up to WC. Pearl Jam seems to work at at even slower pace. 2009 is shaping up to be a great year for new music.
