Well it's definitely a hot and controversial topic amongst my peers, professors and I in various biology programs at U of T, so I was just wondering what the general hipbase consensus was.

Note to self: stop buying weekday tickets for concerts :censored . Well, yet again I have to be out of town on business and will not be able to make this show so I have a pair of GA tix for $60 (below face value) or best ofer. PM me if interested.

If anyone has 3 or 4 tickets for sale to the Syracuse Landmark show please let me know, willing to pay above face value.

Can't go now, have to go out of the country for business. I have 2 tickets for House of Blues, this friday Oct 30th. Like to get face value for them if I could.

Long story short, I had a job interview at the same time as one of my lectures at school. Apparently I was not the only one who missed the lecture so the prof posted an audio recording made by a student, however she used Rapidshare to host the files. I do not have a rapidshare account :nooooo and I'm not too keen on spending 7 euro just to be provided with an audio file for a lecture. I was hoping somebody with a rapidshare account could help me out and download the file and then forward it my way. Or if there's any alternative idea's I'd love to hear them. Thanks.

My buddy just turned me on to this comic strip site. As a self confessed newspaper comic strip nerd, and one with a dark sense of humour, I fell in love with it right away. Check out the site and just keep clicking the random button to bring new comics up. Pure hilarity and wit, plus some excellent science references out there for my fellow lab rats and engineers.

Greetings from Austin Texas,
I'm a big fan here in Texas and have made it to most of the local shows the last 10 years or so. I had a question I thought I might ask the more informed Hip Base here. I own both an Edirol digital 2 ch.audio recorder and an HD flash drive video camera (Canon), question is can I record audio and/or video at the show here tonight? It seems I have seen that audio is Ok with the band but I wanted to be sure and respectful of the bands wishes. Looking forward to another dose of The Hip as we fans down here only get few chances to see them. I have emailed all my friends and told them this is a must see....mind you I usually don't do that. I was at the ACL show as my uncle Roky Erickson was also performing....while watching the Hip I noticed one of our writer/critics from the local paper beside me, I leaned over towards him and said "so...you really do know good music"....he just smiled and we all enjoyed a fantastic show. Thanks in advance and see you there.
