I'm planning to get a couple of the GD bootlegs, but I'm not sure which to
pick? Can anyone recommend which are the best out of the bunch.

Here is a good site for JJ tabs and there is a link for a great download of a live show. http://www.stanford.edu/~reedg/guitartab.html
His songs are great to play and not too hard (I'm just starting to play).

Have fun!

Matt

Anyone from Vancouver heading to Kelowna for The Hip show and would like to carpool? I've got 3 seats in my car available and I'm probably heading out around 1pm on Friday (it's about 4 hours to Kelowna).

The only catch is, as it stands right now, I have to work at 5am on Saturday morning, which means I'll be driving back to Vancouver after the concert Friday night. I'm currently trying to get my shift covered or booked off completely, but I won't know about that until Thursday or Friday.

Gates open at 6pm and a yet-to-be-named band goes on at 7pm. Wide Mouth Mason will probably come on around 745pm and play until approx. 830pm. The Hip will probably go on around 9pm and end around 1045pm. This means (tentitively) we will leave around 11pm and get back into Vancouver around 3am or 330am.

I would love to get my shift covered so I could hang out after the show to possibly meet The Boys and see Kelowna (take our time driving back), but right now that doesn't look like it going to happen (considering it takes between 1-3 hours for them to appear, if they choose to).

If this sounds appealing to anyone, please PM me. Even if you want to stay later and meet The Boys, PM me so at least I know you want to hop in if I can get Saturday morning off.

Laters,
Tony

Hello all, I feel like getting some old fashion trading going, so I’m offering up one copy of 3/8/91 from Coyote’s in Tucson. No particular reason for offering this show, I just picked it randomly from my collection, but I think that someone is in for a treat! It’s a recording of an FM broadcast, so the sound quality is pretty good. It’s 16 tracks on one disc. Here’s a link I found to the track listing: http://www.livehip.com/setlists/hip030891.txt
It will be the first freebie for a brand-new take one, leave one thread.

For those of you who don't know what this is, here's how it works. Somebody sees this message and responds, "hey, I'll take that, and leave [show from his/her collection]."

He/she then PM's me (private message), letting me know they responded to my offer, and provides me with their address. I send my show (3/8/91) to them as a freebie, they do nothing but provide their address. Pretty soon, someone will respond to the 2nd person's offer, accepting their show, and leaving a new one in turn. The 2nd person sends his show to the 3rd person as a freebie, and on, and on, and on.

Clear?

Cool. Let's play.
