Upon listening to many shows in which the crowd has the oppurtunity to ask the band some questions, I (Like many others do I'm sure) ponder what one question I would ask them band if I could. But then I listen to these shows some more (Especially the GD solo I&I) it seems to me that with every question that gets asked of them, the boys seem to answer in a very nonchalant fashion, trying to be comical and almost avoiding each question. Watching the GD I&I, it seemed as if he didn't even care, and kind of dodged every question...some of these questions asked in the past have been really good, really insightful, while some have been the standard "You're my God" type deal. Do you think they view these sort of things as mere formalities, and possibility dismiss every question before it is even asked? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but after listening to these shows, the general attitude toward answering questions seems uncanny....any thoughts? I personally have never met the band, so I couldn't judge these things vs. real conversations with the band...what does everyone think?

Hope all is well. I'm in a good mood for some reason today, so the first 3 people who can send $30 via paypal will get 8 hip dvds (of my choice). This is great for anyone who hasn't seen any dvds yet. This is essentially for cost too ($2-3 extra dollars will go to the SPCA)... Please realize this is as low as the packages will go and there's only 3, they are regularly $35 for 8 dvds, and will stay like that after I receive 3 people at $30.

Hey folks...anyone else ever wonder why The Hip have never dabbled in covers during their lives shows from the past few years? We've seen GD do some this year, maybe due to lack of material to play live, but still entertaining nonetheless. So let's hear it! What covers does everyone think The Hip would sound good doing live? I'll get the ball rolling, suggesting the obvious, Closer To The Heart by Rush. Hearing it live shows a great oppurtunity for a great jam filled with whatever GD could come up with, and it would obviously be a fitting tribute to "the mighty Rush" as The Hip call them. Let's hear what everyone thinks!

I am wondering if there was a recording made of the Minneapolis show at the Fine Line on July 18. I'd really like to get a copy if so.

it was fun reading your thoughts on T3, so lets try it with this weeks big release.

I saw it last night and its totally different then the 1st one.

Way too long of a movie 2h15min and the movie had a hard time flowing, the script just sucked. There were a couple hillirous moments and some great action scences but im getting tired of seeing the MATRIX in every fuking movie. No storyline either.

Wait till video/dvd release. On a action scale blows the 1st one away, but on an script/acting scale, well its gets its ass kicked.

(i even noticed on 2 different occasions, times where you could clearly see a camera) When a car exploded the rigged camera comes flying out and lands in the center of the screen! and when martin lawerence shuts his car door you can see the camera in the side view mirror! Stupid

Was in sarnia for bayfest on the weekend and found out a couple guys from the hip will be in town jul 29th for the mike weir gollf tournament . there will be a musical performance later that night at the industrial - chad smith of the chilli peppers and others will be there ..
