I'm just really bummed. I can't find my copy of Music @ Work anywhere. I really wanted to listen to it while studying for this ridicuously pointless bio exam (damn liberal arts degree). Cry

I know what the girls in the "Hip Lust Gang" are gunna say... Smile But for the rest of us, what's your favourite Paul Part?

For me, it's a tie:

The Lake Fever Heart Breaker verse

and

"Sing to end all songs to send all songs" from Daddy.

...HOORAY, no more depriving myself of my favourite Canadian chocolate bars while living here in the States. I found a great little market (Globe Market) right by my work that sells all the great Canadian faves...Aero, Smarties, Crunchie, Crispy Crunch, Coffee Crisp, Mr. Big, etc...etc...

HOORAY...and I can feel my thighs expanding at the mere thought of eating all 18 I just bought! Smile (of course, I won't eat them all in one sitting...maybe within 24 hours, but not one sitting...haha).

You have NO idea how deprived I have been of my fave treats. Whenever I went into Canada to visit my family, I'd stock up...but this is wonderful...they are two blocks away.

Oh wait, maybe it's not such a good thing...thankfully I'm a runner, I'll just run them off...or maybe take one on a run with me... Smile

On thehip.com in the discography section, there is a little IBE poster that you can click on and sample any of the new songs. I would say it plays about a minute or more of each one, much longer than any of the other site's previews.

They must have a lot of faith in the new album to put that up there considering that anyone could preview it there and then not buy the album.

I wish more bands would do this. I think it is a great idea.

Do you think there is a reason they did this? I think they did it for IVL as well.

Maybe since Rounder isn't helping them out much as far as promotions they are taking the bull by the horns and doing it themselves. Now, its just a matter if anybody actually goes a bit further into the site than the main page.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go? The Clash

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?
Darling you gotta let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I'll be here 'til the end of time
So you got to let know
Should I stay or should I go?

Always tease tease tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine, next is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on and let me know
Should I Stay or should I go?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
An' if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know

This indecision's bugging me
if you don't want me, set me free
Exactly who'm I'm supposed to be
Don't you know which clothes even fit me?
Come on and let me know
Should I cool it or should I blow?

Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So you gotta let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

So I never even attempted to get the CD back before IBE came out. A 25% chance of getting the Hip? "Screw it". But yesterday, I decided to buy a 28-case of Blue and said, "screw it" once again and went for the CD.

I rip open the case in my car and !BOOM! ha ha! It's the Hip! I'm thinking "right on, what are the chances?..." Anyway, I'm looking at this dark-orange piece of cardboard and I read the songs on the back... "IN Bobcaygeon"?? What the hell? It's written on the back as "IN Bobcaygeon"??

Now, I gotta ask, did everybody else who happened to get one of these have this mistake on theirs? Or is mine, ahem, rare?

Probably a useless thread I've started but one more detail added to the wealth of history already draggin behind the Hip. "In 2004, Labatt Blue had a promotion giving away a free CD in their cases AND THERE WAS A MISTAKE ON THE HIP CD!"
