I am willing to B&P the show for anyone who isnt able to obtain the show.
I have even split the tracks, BobC and Nautical. Just PM me if anyone wants to take me up on this offer.
Also in the next day or so I will be actually updating my bootleg list and PM me if you would like to see it.
How do I protect one file from being deleted, for example the Hipbase cookie, I want to protect it, so when I go to delete cookies, the it is saved.
Do just have to manually delete all cookies but that one?
Thanks in advance
OK, so the Hip are rumoured to be in DC in Sept 25th. Wilco is in Virginia on the 27th. I've got a buddy trying to convince me to go to both (and DC isn't a short flight from Calgary). So here's my issue - my wife is due with our fist child on Oct 19. So would I be cutting it too close. I know she'd tell me to go, but would she just be doing it to be nice meanwhile cursing my name from now until the big day, or is three weeks ahead of the due date plenty of time????? I'm looking for opinions before I even bring it up and risk never meeting my own child!
Just wanted to give a very BIG public thanks to Mr. Tragically Phipps himself for being generous enough to help me out with some Digital Video Discs.
Now, Billy Dee is still THE man, but Gibby is a close second.

Thanks man!
Hey everyone, I have been using Ebay to search for HIp posters and rare cds. I just discovered today that searches using ebay.com come up with tons more results than ebay.ca.
Found some cool gems which I hope to add to my collection.
Good luck...
And to whoever was looking for a HIp jersey, there is one up there from this tour for $40.
these guys are my new addiction. I'll never pick up my electric guitar the same way again. Jack is pure genius. Meg is so so but backing up Jack she does fine. I love all four of their albums. There is also a pile of boots out there of these guys. Simple, Raw and exciting. I haven't had this much fun playing along with songs in a good long time.
Anyone else fans of these guys? Anyone seen em live?
Just finished reading the Sudbury thread and - where's our youth?
A rock concert is about being uncomfortable.
I expect:
1. To have people not paying attention infront of me, talking about the next j-lo movie
2. To get kicked in the head
3. To have Fat people jumping, and sweating on me
4. A general concert is supposed to be a little difficult to handle
I'm a tiny little puke, and I fall victim to the aformentioned but, come on it's a festival don't come home having to speak about how rowdy it was. Look at Hekseketel, the people are pinned against the fence in the front row, sweating to death, that is what concerts are about, I don't think violence is acceptable, but I at the least expect to see some. I remember being at Richardson Stadium like 12 years old, soaking wet in the rain, rocking out to fully completley, being tossed around like a bean bag, now that's glorious! Or howabout Stage 13, like 10 years later, I was pushed against a fence for 12 hours, waiting for the hip to come on in the hot hot sun. I was at Woodstock 94, and you go to a festival, for the festival atmosphere
You go to a festival to get a sense of community and sweat, you cannot expect to have a peacful though provoking experience such as at a theatre, The Hip are agianst violence, crowd surfing, moshing etc. However I would imagine they do these festivals for a reason.
I don't disagree, it is uncomfortable and could be annoying for some people, but if you expect this type of behaviour, you may enjoy yourself a bit more.
.....what the Hip would be like today if they ended up being huge in the US, say around the Fully Completely release? Would Gord be running around talking to world leaders about AIDS in Africa? Would Johnny be dating Hollywood starlets and hanging out with Colin Farrell? Would Bobby publish a book of photographs? Would Paul and Gord S be living in Phoenix playing golf everyday? Would we get new albums every five years instead of every two years? And most importantly, would someone actually update their website more often than once every three weeks?
