(So?... It's time for some nostalgia anyway...)

Okay, back in the day, I bought....

Spice Girls - The first one with "Wannabe" on it
Sky - Piece of Paradise
Live - Throwing Copper
Meatloaf - Bat Of Hell 2: Back Into Hell
Weird "Al" Yankovic - The Food Album
Chumbawumba - Tubthumper

Oh, $hit, "Memory Lane"...
These CDs didn't spend very much time in my stereo...

Just wondering if there are any Wilco fans here as well? And if so, your thoughts on A Ghost is Born? Personally, I like it better than Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.

I've also collected some Wilco boots from etree if anyone is interested...

Have any of you Bit Torrent folks tried out this site: http://bt.etree.org ?

I've been using it for the past couple of weeks to get some Wilco boots and it seems to work like a charm. My brief experience with Sharing the Groove is that it is down every second day. I did a search at bt.etree for the Hip and there was nothing there. Just thought I'd throw it out there as this whole bit torrent concept seems to be a lot easier than trades and B&P's. (Edit: After this post I went back to the site and voila, someone had put up the Darien Lake show. Thanks Adam Hudson!)

By the way, if anyone out there is looking for some Wilco boots, drop me a PM. And for those of you who haven't listed to Wilco's new CD yet, check it out. It is great. Sorry for going off topic......

Now, here's a question right out of left field, but I'm honestly curious.

Are the Hip rich?

Have they become, say, millionaires, selling 500 000 copies of each album, or however much they sell, and touring regularly? The profits have to be split at least five ways, and then there's the whole rest of the operation to consider...

Now I ain't asking for their bank statements or anything. Just a general idea. Especially because the Hip genuinely do not seem very worried about paying the bills; they keep developing and doing as they please, and Downie turns down federal funding for a video to promote his solo record...Downie's also remarked that the band has no pension plan, so they're gonna keep on doing it 'til they drop dead...and in the end I just wonder about the economics of it all.

Any clue?
