Seriously though, I just have a few thoughts that have been going through my head lately. The first is how much I have been really digging the song M@W the last few times seeing it live. That is one hell of a great song live and I don't see it getting the credit it deserves.

The other thought is simply how lucky we, as rabid Hip fans, are to have the Hip as part of our lives. It struck me last night while I was watching Chris's DVD (beautiful job man!), holy shit, am I lucky to have seen this band 18 times now, and who knows how many more. They haven't bothered to get caught up in the typical rock star traps...drugs, booze, fighting...they have simply remained good friends who do what they do for the love of it.

Nevermind the bickering about boring setlists and what not, how about we treasure what we have here, while we still have it. Seeing them in Calgary just a bit ago renewed the joy and excitement that had, to a certain degree, slipped away. Sure I was still a huge fan and bought M@W and IVL, but something slipped away. It's back, and it feels great.

Let's also bask in the glory of bit torrents and those who create and seed them. These truly are the glory days of all things Hip!

Hope some of you are making it out to see thornley tomorrow night at lees palace in toronto...15$...good music, and a great live show. See you there 8)

Can anyone suggest a good program for burning DVDs? I downloaded Chris' Toronto DVD from the tracker and the program I have now (Sonic - Record Now) is not suitable for this project. Any help would be appreciated. I have a PC with Windows XP.

So here's my question: if Roger Maris had to have an asterisk beside his 61 homers in 1961 (because the regular season was longer than when Ruth hit 60), shouldn't there be an asterisk beside McGwire's, Sosa's and Bonds' names? They can deny, deny, deny all they want, but with Caminiti (RIP) and now Giambi admitting to steroid use, only a fool would believe those other guys were clean.
