If the folks that run this site want to function as a gatekeeper for the email correspondence Brazle posted, fine. But does anyone have a copy of it they can email me? hello i'm new here and this topic has probably been discussed already so please accept my appology if it has been done before. i've been recording the hip since 99, i was wondering how to do the torrent thing on hipfans. i've already downloaded from this great page and intend to keep doing so but i want to share the wealth

i went to pittsbugh in october and i've got it in flac form so i've got it that far i just need to know how to put it up on hipfans

I've been downloading torrents of audio for a while, yet I've hesitated to download DVDs of video boots.

I'm not sure what exactly I need to view these. If I don't have a DVD burner, is there a viewer that can play these on my PC? Alternatively, can they be burned to a VCD and played on my DVD player?

Since there seems to be an ever growing number of people adding shows to the tracker I thought maybe we could each pick out one or two shows that we'd like to see on the tracker, and why. Of course, beggars can't be choosers and I'll gladly take whatever shows are put up, but for you seeders out there that plan on releasing shows but are not sure which ones, maybe others can give some suggestions.

My two choices are; Pine Knob 7-31-99, this was my first Hip show, I'd heard Fireworks on the radio and bought PP, thought they were a new group and was blown away by the show. ACC 12-31-99, second Hip show, by this time I had bought LBU, Road Apples, and Henhouse and really starting to get into them. Purchased tickets to the show at a Ticketmaster in Port Huron, MI and amazingly snagged front row center floor! Believe it or not, it was amazing.

Well, thanks for reading and thanks to all who have made trading so efficient.

Does anybody have info on what his new show on the CBC is going to be about. Muchmusic just lost the tiny grain of cred it had. I think George and Sook Yin Lee should be forced to mate and create a race of uber cool offspring.

Strange. You would think that after touring across the country all month to support it, it would've shot back up into the top 30 at least. I'm guessing most of the people attending the shows already bought it back in June when it came out.

While bored at lunch, i searched Das Hip on Ebay. The first thing I did was kick myself, as I found this:

I had one of those cards, until I saw the Hip at the Metro Centre and threw it on stage.... (hey, I was young and stupid back then!) I never thought i could have gotten $$$ for it now.

I also got to thinking.... as usual, there's tons of autographed stuff on there. I don't think I would want to *buy* an autograph. Call me sentimental, but the autograph should be something that I've earned and gotten myself..... to capture a moment. By buying it from someone else, it cheapens it to me.......

Maybe that's just me.
