Looks like my bank account is gonna take a few hits this summer, cause there's a pile of new CDs I have to pick up. And I still have to buy tix for Calgary Folkfest as well (Jeff Tweedy, Steve Earle, and the Weakerthans are playing this year, woohooo!) Here are a few items currently on my wish list:

Foo Fighters- In Your Honor
this is the album I'm most looking forward to. Dave rules. Everything he's been involved with is pure gold in my opinion, from Nirvana to the Foos, to Queens of the Stone Age. It's all good.

Coldplay- X&Y
I know there's a lot of Coldplay haters out there, but I don't care. I love 'em, and I can't wait to pick this up tomorrow.

I've read a couple reviews of this one and so far everthing sounds very positive. They've got a new guitarist (former MGB member Dave Genn), a new kick-ass album, and a rejuvinated Neil Osborne. You can't go wrong.

Hugh Dillon Redemption Choir- The High Co$t of Low Living
I already bought the indie release of this disc, but I'll probably pick up the new one just for the liner notes and the bonus track. This way I get to support Hugh's new band and Paul's new record label all in one shot. Besides, Paul might kick my ass if I don't buy it.

I've got this idea that i've already kinda started, and it involves our countrys license plates. See, what i've got cooked up is, on this big ole wooden shed(I think its wood, a good canvas if you will, to work with) we got in our backyard, I'm gonna place the plates in a layout that resembles where all the provinces and territories are located geographically. I've got Saskatchewan and Manitoba placed so far and I think i have a polar bear plate kickin around somewhere. This is where you come in, I'm pretty sure there is a representative from each corner of this glorious country on the Ship, with maybe the exception of Nunavut, but i could be wrong bout that though, there is alot of us. so anyways, would you like to help me complete this little art project of mine? New and Old license plates have always been something I've been fasinated with for whatever reason. If yes, I can send you a stamped envelope to send it to me. Any help would be greatly and deeply appreciated and it makes a nice story for the grandkids and will look hott damn cool to boot :thumb: I still need:

Overheard on Y108 this weekend Gord will be performing with Daniel Lanois at the end of June for some festival show. Sorry about the lack of details I couldn't hear the radio to well. Didn't catch a date or location, but he will be joing Lanois for a few songs.

I went to a housewarming party yesterday, and started in on the beers around 2pm. Continued that for the next 10 hours, forgot about lunch/dinner, and now I feel like crap. So friends, I need you help. What do you do to get rid of a blazing hangover?

I need something special this morning, as this is the worst I think I've ever felt.
