i don't know why there's all the dave hate around here..if you've ever seen them live, you know they put on an amazing show, and as someone else pointed out..they're very original and much better than the default/nickelcreed sound....all of the musicians are very talented at what they do, and although i'm not a fan of the new cd, i will go see them live again, and support good music!!

I was just wondering what everyone thinks the hip should start playing live again. For me, it would be awesome if they busted out the 38 Years Old again. When I met the band Dec. 3 in Saint John Big Grin I asked Gord. He mainly said its because it creeps him out because its written in first person, and there is lines like "my sister got raped". But anyways, all this aside, I say BRING IT BACK.
I wanna know what u think :jump

Just wondering if we can complete the list of covers from Gord's rantings on "Live Between Us." I'm interested to know how many of the ad-lib's listed are actually pieces of other songs. Here's what I've got, unknown rants in regular font, and 7 known covers identified by bold numbers:

Just got back from a week of hiking/camping with my dog Augustine (siberian husky) along the ice age trail in central wisconsin.

I know a few of you on this site are from there, and I just wanted to tell you what a terrific state you have. All you boys and girls from the CA take note! If you want to check out a kickass US state for an outdoor vacation, check out wisconsin!

I'm so moving there after next year!

BEWARE - Do not purchase this TV.

I purchased it from Best Buy back in February - 4 months later its DEAD. Best Buy wont take it back and Phillips wont help me so now Im faced with an $95.00 repair bill for a 4 month old TV!

I checked out Amazon.com and discovered (30) 1-star consumer reveiws for this model - they all die after 3-4 months of service.

Just thought I would give you "heads up" in case any of you were planning on buying a Phillips TV.

well, the season's are changin once again, and you have to have your summer soundtrack..for me the best summer cd by the hip is road apples..it's got a great backyard bbq feel to it!!
