08/18/02: Wheat Kings is listed as track 22 but should be 12 with the rest of the tracks following it

First off, sorry Chris, I wasn;t sure whether to post here or in the non-hip section

A friends kid (10yrs old) is doing a classrom presentation on music they like and she has decided to do it on The Hip since they are not overly common for kids her age. Anyways they have to put on an oral presentation and get extra marks for being creative. The other day a kid did their project on East Coast music and brought in Molasis (spelling?0 cookies for everyone since that is related to East Coast (I guess?? is that true Ron??)

So now............I am racking my brain for what she could take into her class that would be related to The Hip. I was trying to think of something related to Kingston (maybe a hunk of limestone or something) or possibly since they have been together 20 years, maybe something related to 1985..............

Can anyone out there do a bit of brainstorming and think of what she might be able to take in and distribute to her class??

I am writing a paper about the legal status of possessing a small amount of marijuana according to legal theorist Lon Fuller. The essay requires us to look at the criminal code of Canada to see what law says about possession, as well as court cases.

I've been looking through the online version of the criminal code for relevant sections, and the only thing that seems to really apply is in the controlled drugs and substances act, but our prof was talking as though there were other relevant sections not in the controlled drugs and substances act.

So the question for you law types: is there another relevant section I should be looking at other than the controlled drugs and substances act?

Any help would be appreciated!

another CD that will end up on my top ten at the end of the year..it's got the typical poppy sounds that the dandy's are so good at, but a lot of experimental tripped out songs as well...the intro is hilarious , with narration from Bill Kurtis from A&E...the thing i love about these guys, is they're so damn funny..but on the surface it really seems like they take themselves very seriously
