Let's say one could put their hand into "the vault" . . . and could choose a few shows . . . let's say five (arbitrarily) . . .and with a bit of luck . . . get them to see the light of day one day . . . so my HYPOTHETICAL question is, where to start. How to choose. What criteria, etc. . . .

Don't read anything into this and don't get expectations up, but I like to have a game plan if the opportunity arrises and who know, it might one day.

So, any Hypothetical suggestions . . . how would one choose . . .and what would they be?

MAv.

If no seeds are available, here's a (semi) permanent upload site to grab them from.
These will only disappear if nobody downloads them for 30 consecutive days.

This morning at 730, No threat was broadcast on 97.7 htzfm st catharines.
The DJ had mentioned that Gord sent the station the song and went on to thank him and the hip for all the years of friendship.

As for the song, its faster and i think more heavier then anything they have done. Very nice to hear on the radio, great song!

Hey all,

As I was studying away for my class "History of the American Presidency" I came across an interesting fact which I think may explain the origin of 54-40's name.

The 11th Prez. of the United States, James Knox Polk, outlined his platform. It included reoccupying Oregon from the British. This included all land between the latitudes of 54' north and 40' south. Taking as his slogan, "Fifty-Four Forty or Fight."

Maybe it is just a coincidence, but kinda cool none the less. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

anybody else notice that the track listing has left out NOIS? Seems to me like a case of being overly politically correct. Kind of a disappointment for me if they did leave it out (which seems the case), it was my first hip show and would have loved to see the show in it's entirety once again. Anybody else know anything about it?

Does anybody remember if either Gord's solo work or a Hip song was featured on the soundtrack to either "The Hockey Nomad" (2002) or "the Hockey Nomad Goes To Russia" (2005) ?

I was just surfing amazon.com , and the was glancing at the tracklisting for "Yer Favourites", and I noticed that there was an extra track for a total of 37 tracks. According to amazon.com , The Darkest One is on the discs, between Long Time Running and Locked In The Trunk Of A Car. I was just wondering if anybody can confirm or deny this.
