While enjoying a cigarette outside I noticed what appears to be a full moon, with what I believe to be Mars just underneath at roughly the 7:00 position. There is an erie "HALO" enclosing both while they shine away. If you can look outside, I suggest you take a quick peek and if you can see it let us know where you are! I'm in Ajax, Ontario 20 mins. east of TO! Just a cool thing if you are into that. Have a good one!

My old digital camera is starting to crap out so I cashed in some Aeroplan miles for a Future Shop gift card (since trying to book ANYTHING on Aeroplan is pointless) and picked up a Canon PowerShot SD300. Sweet looking camera, but WHAT'S WITH ALL THE CRAP THAT COMES WITH IT?

When I opened the box I figured they must have mistakenly packed information for building my own nuclear power plant.

- camera (obviously required)
- battery + charger (required)
- USB cable (required)

- "Digital camera solution" disk with some programs I'd never use
- "Camera Suite 1.3" disk - again with progams I'd never use
- Guide do demarrage des logiciels (102 pages)
- Accessories fournis avec l'appareil photo (4 pages)
- Supplied with camera (4 pages)
- Software Starter Guide (102 pages! "Starter"?)
- Camera user guide (4 huge fold out pages)
- Guide de demarrage rapide (4 monster fold out pages)
- some advertising for their digital printers
- a six page document telling me that, ya, sure, you don't have to install their software, but you really, really should
- the warranty card
- the full user guide (177 pages x 2 thanks to his French brother)
- the "Canon Direct Print User Guide" (100 pages)
- a cable to connect the camera to the TV
- a strap

There's more reading here than I did in first year university. When's the exam?

It took me all of 3 minutes to figure out the camera on my own, and I'm fairly certain that other required info is available on the 'net. What a waste. I think I'm going to plant a tree tomorrow and name it Canon.

well, since everybody (i hope if not do it) has heard the studio version of No Threat I've got to bring a new topic of conversation up. I've noticed that through all this hype for No Threat (love the song by the way its fucking raw) I haven't heard anyone talking about the other new song. "The New Maybe", now that I've heard No Threat, "the new maybe" is gonna be my new song to look forward to. Anyone know anything about it?

just heard on 97.7 HTZ FM in St.Catharines, that only the box set will be available on Nov.1. If you want to buy just the cds or just the dvd, they won't be out until Nov.8. If anyone is interested in that info.

Now that No Threat is out, here's my best uneducated guess at the words. The whole thing is a guess, probably with many hilarious errors, and the stuff with question marks around it are wild guesses where I can't make it out at all. He doesn't really say something about the Beatles at the end, does he?
