Just heard the opening riffs to the studio version of No Threat on The Hawk here in London. It was just a 5 second loop (Similar to preview for IBE tracks), but it sounds pretty good.

I am really pumped now :jump :jump

(Edit: Sorry about initial thread title, my computer has a mind of its own. I typed "No Threat Preview!!!" and for some reason that got replaced with "!!")

The Tragically Hip: That Night in Toronto - Premiere
The Tragically Hip, Canada's premier live band, performs for a sell-out crowd of 18,000 in Toronto. This is not a retrospective or a documentary celebrating their multi-platinum career, this is a rock concert by a band very much in its prime, a band twenty years young, pertinent and relevant to the music of our changing times.

Does anyone know the tabs and/or lyrics to the song "Times Are Passing Us By"? I have a mp3 of it, if it would help. Thanks very much.

Thanks.

Why didn't this start at the beginning of the season?

I'm watching the Leafs / Flyers game and keep thinking that Kerry Fraser should be on a football field.

I figured it was about time I got off my lazy ass and put a list of my boots together, so here they are, all audio at the moment until I get a DVD burner.

Hi there,

I was hoping someone would be able to help me with this…..I am currently in the market for laptop, but my problem is that I don’t have too much experience with today’s systems. I have been out of the loop for a few years now. I am looking to spend up to $1500, but I would love to get one for less. Here’s what I am hoping to do with the system.

- Wireless Internet (perhaps)- depending on monthly rates and such.
- Using it for gaming- I’m not a big gamer, but wouldn’t mind checking it out. Possibly hooking up to my big-screen and entertainment centre?
- Downloading (and uploading) as much as possible….I feel out of the loop with the whole bit torrent thing. I figure I should jump in at some point
- Burning cd’s and dvd’s

Anyone have any ideas what I would need to accomplish this sort of stuff on a laptop?

Does anyone currently use wireless internet? Any problems with it? Is it worth the additional cost?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

Joe.

Does anyone know if there's a recording (Live or studio) anywhere of this?

I'm talking about the song, an outtake from Road Apples and resurrected in a December 7, 2000 concert at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Thanks very much
