So on our cable they are giving a free viewing of 1 of the movie channels.
Last night after work I was watching Superman 3 - the one where he goes back to Smallvile and then is given Krponite and turns bad. Wicked scene near the end where Bad Super Man and Clark Kent fight in the junkyard.

When Clark is out on a picnic with Lani and her son gets hurt and almost run over by a tractor, the name on the Tractor is Wheat King.
The bad corporation Webscoe owns Wheat King and it keeps popping up in the movie. It's a Wheat King computer they use to try to change the weather & stuff.

You know you're a hip fan when you see a kick ass movie but can only think about sun down in the Paris of the Prairies.

What would you do if you were the coach in this situation?

We're a new band based out of NB

Hey Folks!

I was just on Ron's official forum (where he posts regularly), and it looks like his new solo disc is in the can, and he's in the process of figuring out when it's gonna come out. Originally it was going to be September, but the release date is still up in the air at the moment. But he's assured everyone that it WILL be released in the near future. I absolutely loved his first solo album, as well as his work with the Rusty Nails. I can't wait to hear what he's got in store for us on the new one. Personally I think he's one of the best and most underrated songwriters this country has ever produced.

My local newspaper has a "soundoff" section where people can call in and leave a message to be put in the paper- whether it be a concern, complaint, thank you - stupid stuff.
Well the other day there was a complaint - and today a reply that I thought was pretty funny:

Complaint: Sunday night on Ohio Street in North Tonawanda was nice when we moved in. Now, on a regular basis, we catch the aroma of pot smoke. For our neighbors, we don’t know who you are, but please get rid of the pot smoke.


Reply: To the person complaining about pot smoke — I’ve been making pottery my whole life and never had the neighbors complain. Sure I get a light dust in my work shop but nothing to bother the neighbors. Maybe you should talk to them, see if they can make you a vase or maybe a planter.

Was at Kempenfest in Barrie with the wife over the long weekend and saw a lottery booth promoting free SRB concert at Georgian Downs on August 20. Friday and Saturday shows in Sudbury and Thunder Bay as well.
