Hello Hipbasers

I'm unsure if I should have posted this in the show reviews section, but I'm not making a review per say, and I thought a broader audience might like to see this so here it is:

I was lucky enough to get front row tickets to last Friday's show in Barrie and made the road trip with my girlfriend. I thought I'd share some of the pics and low quality movies (Rink, incomplete, and 100th, full song) I took from section A row 1.

Some are better than others, but there's a cool one of Paul singing with The Weight towards the end of the show, one of Gord throwing the microphone stand in the air, etc, etc...

Lynette and I are considering it. Would anyone like to car pool to save on gas? I would be driving? We are thinking of leaving early Thursday and doing some shopping in Bangor, ME and staying over night at hotel close to the U of Maine. We stayed at the hotel in October. The hotel was cheap and nice ($65 a night). Then leave Friday for Boston. Spend the day in downtown Boston, attend the show and drive to Hamton Beech after the show. Should be cheaper hotels in Hampton instead of downtown Boston, example <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.shipsinnresort.com">http://www.shipsinnresort.com</a><!-- m -->. Spend the day in and around Hampton Beech, enjoy the show, stay in Hampton Beech another night. 8-9 hours back to Halifax on Sunday.

I'm thinking about doing a run of t-shirts with a Paul Kicks Ass logo on them, but to make it worth my while I'd have to print up quite a few. I just wanted to get a feel for interest in them before I explore any further, so let me know your thoughts or if you'd be interested in ordering one from me if I were to follow through.

...I'm surprised no one's brought this up already, but when I'm daydreaming in lectures these days, I begin t'wonder what kinda cover tunes we'll see in the upcoming shows...

So let's have some predictions...

I'm surprised we've only seen one Stones tune, but I wouldn't be surprised if we hear at least another one before this thing's done...After playing popular tunes by the Clash and the Band, I'll bet we hear something from "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out"...Jumpin' Jack Flash or Live With Me....

I remember hearing Gord launch into "Mannish Boy" at the end of a New O...I think Chicago, 2000? Anyway, I think bringing the Cons onstage for a rousing rendition sounds, y'know, kickass...

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear more than one cover for the T.O. closing date...

I am looking to escape from windows, I have been introduced to linux os through one of the courses I am taking. However, after looking into it there are so many different versions, looking for help picking the right version for my desktop. I have 2 hardrives and will probably move XP to the smaller of the two and run with two opperating systems, but hoping to move to a linux system as my primary os. Any help would be great, thanks.

This is one of those events that I can remember vividly (and probably always will...), even though I was only 8.

Hey all,

I was Watching after hours on CBC hockey tonight and they had a segment where they were asking questions to to Ryan Miller and Brian Campbell about how well they new each other.

Ryan Miller plays guitar and The guy from CBC asked Brian what he could have Ryan play one song on guitar, what would it be? He then answerd New Orleans is Sinking by the Tragically Hip. Brian also mentionned that he plays guitar and when they break out into NOIS, he sings.

Nice to see an American like Ryan Miller playing som Hip.
