Has anyone heard any of Finger Eleven's forthcoming album yet? I just checked out the bands revamped website and I though I was listening to the Killers at first.. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.fingereleven.com/">http://www.fingereleven.com/</a><!-- m --> It ended up not being a bad song, I had to take a few listens to start digging it.

I just discovered LiveVideo.com and I like it better than YouTube... but is it better? Anyone have any experience with it?

Does anyone have a good lead tab for this song? Ive been trying to get it but so far all i have is that the main riff is something with the B string around the 1st and 3rd frets. Can anyone help?

The Tragically Hip played a sold-out concert at Sudbury Arena Saturday night.

Earlier in the day, three members of the Canadian band surprised local high school students when they walked into Confederation Secondary School to catch the Evolutionary Band in rehearsal.

"The band and crew were caught completely by surprise," says band director Norm McIntosh.

Evolutionary was being filmed by a local production crew working on a full length documentary on The "REAL School of Rock.

"Members of the film crew were also treated to personal interviews by the Hip on the important topic of music education," says McIntosh.

The Hip knew how to please Sudbury fans, playing an encore of Sudbury Saturday Night.

Barbaro euthanized

Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro, whose valiant battle for survival after shattering his right-hind leg in the early stages of the May 20 Preakness brought international attention unprecedented emotional support, was euthanized early today at the University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center, where he had been hospitalized for more than eight months.

Owners Roy and Gretchen Jackson made the painful decision after consulting with Dr. Dean Richardson, chief of surgery at the New Bolton facility who had directed Barbaro's treatment throughout his hospitalization.

A deterioration of the originally injured leg required surgery on Saturday during which pins were inserted through the bone and connected to an external device. That setback, complicated by a left-hind hoof afflicted by severe laminitis, indications that the front hooves were beginning to become laminitic and Barbaro's inability to lay down for 48 hours following the last surgery led to the final decision "There was not one foot that was not affected," Gretchen Jackson told the Thoroughbred Times.

Wanted a decent digital camera for a while now, to start getting into photography properly. So I saved up my pennies, cut down on beer (a little bit) and now I've got the end result!

Of course, I forgot to buy a memory card, which was dumb of me, so I can't have too much fun for a few days yet...
