In light of these AWESOME set lists lately, I am writing to BEG the boys to keep these great song mixes coming when they hit the states next month. As someone that has seen the Hip dozens of times on both sides of the border, I am SO JEALOUS of these set lists lately. My only fear is they are mixing it up more for the loyal Cannucks, and may slide back into complacency when they cross the bridge.

If I get to hear anything like last nights show in Baltimore, Salemenca or Syracuse next week, I will be a very happy man!

Woke up this morning to 6" of fresh white powder here in the Colorado mountains, with another 6" predicted for the first day of fall. The ponds won't freeze for another two months but hockey's right around the corner. I don't know what you all have done in the past on this site for predicting the Cup winner but here's my suggestion as I sit at the computer and look out at the snow.

Pick the Following:
Cup Winner - 9 points
2 Conference Final Winners - 5 points each
4 teams in Conference Finals - 3 points each
6 Regular Season Division Winners - 2 points each
Presidents Cup (Most Regular Season Points) - 1 point
Olympic Gold - 3 points
Olympic Silver - 2 points
Olympic Bronze - 1 point
Tie Breaker- How many points will the Colorado Avalanche get this year? (Those answers may be hard for me to read)

Total Possible 50 points

Winner receives bragging rights and prize valued at less than $20 of my decision, maybe hat of favorite team or Hip Cd of winners choice!

I have a pal who has 2 tickets for sale and I assume they will be face value. They are right side lower level, row J, seats 79-80. Let me know if you're interested and I will put you in touch with the dude who has them.

So I've seen three shows this tour (Saskatoon, Banff and Calgary 1) and it seems that Blow is a common closer this tour. In addition to the extended ending which has evolved over the last few years, Gord has taken to wandering through the crowd, mic in hand, exhorting fans to sing/scream along with him. Thing is, I can't make out what he's yelling. Is it "blo-o-ow", "no-o-o", "go-o-o".... or what? Anyone who's been close enough been able to decipher it?
