I'm going to ask a silly question - but when does the CNE ususally run in Toronto? I think it's about three weeks long, but I just don't know when.

I only ask because my second fave band of all time (hmmm, wonder who the first fave is??) The Cure are playing at the Molson Ampitheatre on August 9th, and I just wondered if that will coincide with the CNE??

Congrats to all of you out there who obtained quality seats for the show. I guess there were some problems, but conisdering the general public will not get nothing better than section 400, I think all should be happy that the Hip Club looked after the fans. I unfortunately, was not able to buy tickets today, knew this, and was only able to get 3 seats in Section 303. So my question is this-Did any Hipbasers buy extra tickets before getting Hip Club tickets? And were those seats in the 200 section? Or extras on the floor? I understand some will be selling their seats, I ask if anyone has seats in the 200 they will be selling, please consider a plea from a fellow loyal Hipbaser, and trade the seats. The price of the seats will be the same, no? I hope this question doesn't come off sounding all-assuming, but I know many of you out there have been stuck with bad seats before. I could even take care of selling the tickets for you, I'll buy them off you. All I want is some sort of upgrade, any sort of upgrade. 303 isn't necessarily a bad section, but I think we can all agree the difference between 200-300 considering the box seats between 200-300 makes a difference. So that is my question, my plea. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, and above all, let's all enjoy the show.

Hello all. I'm trying to download the two in the "New Songs" folder on thehundredthmeridian. I started "ballroom" but it was going to take three hours! I got Dial-Up but normally a song only takes 15-20 min. What's the deal? Is there another copy somewhere? I don't really feel like waiting 3 hours for a single song, especially when other people would like to get on the ftp... I know I haven't heard all of the Hip unreleased songs and I read in a thread that these two songs were going to be on IBE. Could use some help with this...

I just looked at the amphitheater rules ie things that arent permitted.

That would suck with such great tickets...does anyone know if the band has a say it what is allowed in? We do get free admission to the park...yipfreakineee

AS stated on the Amphitheater website:

The Molson Amphitheatre (TMA) has implemented additional security measures to ensure that our guests experience an enjoyable evening at our facility. Below is a list of items that are not permitted at into TMA. We urge guests to leave the following items at home and to keep small bags and backpacks in their vehicles.

Glass containers, cans, unsealed plastic bottles, coolers, picnic baskets, lawn chairs, and weapons of any kind
Strollers, inline skates, and laser pens
Outside alcohol, food or drink
Cameras and recording equipment of any sort
Smoking within the seating area of the Amphitheatre is prohibited
Due to specific concert security policies TMA retains the right to make the final decision on prohibited items and may add additional items to the list above. All bags, backpacks, and purses will be subject to a search at venue entrances. Depending on the concert, all patrons will be subject to a visual search and/or a pat down.

Please note that TMA holds a strict no re-entry policy, which means that once a patron has left the venue, they may not be readmitted.

Children 24 months of age and under do not require a ticket if seated on a lap.

All concert tickets include admission to Ontario Place. During the Canadian National Exhibition your concert ticket also includes admission to the CNE grounds.

Ok I'll admit I haven't been in the HIP CLUB in probably over a year.

For the molson amphitheater the site has two presale dates and then the general public. {hipclub to appear on wednesday}. on the darien lake page it only shows the general public
date. adding to the fact they go onsale this saturday it looks like the hipclub perk isn't going to be happening. cratch:
is this the way it seems to everybody else or am i missing something.

Hello. has anyone found out what ticketmaster is requiring for the hipclub presale tickets??? ie password/membership number?

I cant log into to hipclub but my membership number is still valid and the hipclub customer support its taking its time sending me my info :x

I dont want to have to buy IVL again it it isnt necessary!
