This is a really great song that appears on Tom's 2001 solo album "Planet Love." Gord's signature bass kicks the song off and is instanty recognizable... plus it is a KILLER make-out song for all you love birds out there.

I've just rediscovered Tom after really getting into "Blackie and The Rodeo Kings." From Junkhouse to BARK to "Dig It" Tom really is among the great Canadian musicians.

"The Right Thing" is worth tracking down if you haven't heard it... or if yer just looking to get laid.

One of my favourite bands Counting Crows teamed up with a very good dutch band called Blof to do a song called Holiday In Spain. A great song which is nr. 1 in Holland just two weeks after its release. Blof opened for Counting Crows earlier this year in Rotterdam. They played a few songs together and blew everybody away. Therefore they released this single, check it out at kazaa :thumb:

Hugh Dillon played last night in toronto at the el mocambo for the NXNE music festival it was a good show hugh sounded good considering he hasnt played for awhile he had a full band backing all dressed in suits like he would be wearing at headstones shows the band included a guitarist drummer, keyboard, bass the setlist is as followed (grabbed it off the stage after the show)
Count all my mistakes, microscope, along for the ride, well on your way, inch by inch, carrier pidgion, gods have spoken, number on the wall, manaquins are moving
that is exactly as on the setlist that hugh read off.
as for the songs they sound like a toned down headstones its gotta a little headstones sound still in there but on the most part they didnt sound too much the same, the new music has more groove in it still moshable for you pitters out there he had a song with his harmonica in it i was lucky enuff to tape the show ( for all the headstone message board people i need someone who taped the audio of the show preferably SBD soundboard to complete a wicked dvd on the show the audio i got was from my camera which sounds alright but i would like a better audio. if someone know someone please have them email me at tigermac@spymac.com they will get something big in return *hint a clone of my minidv master*

Congratulations on the milestone Lance :thumb:
In almost two years exactly, your ingenuity has become "the place to be" for Hipsters around the world.

I'm sure The Boys are very appreciative too.

A little expensive at $299, but very cool indeed:

I am actually having a Blue one put together right now, for much much less, just in time for the tour!

I was just curious if anyone knows if there will be an opener for this small club tour? Was there an opener for the small shows when IVL was released? I was super fortunate to get two tickets to the show in Edmonton. I am so excited!!! Being from Saskatoon, I have never seen the Hip in a small venue and I have always wanted to. Anyhoo, I was just curious about the opener...

Oh yeah! This will be my tenth Hip show. I am so stoked!
