If you belong to the inside 102.1 the edge, login now to submit your entry to be picked to go to the show. The show is for sure the 29th of June and will be broadcasted live on edge 102 that night!!! All we need to know now is the place of the show. IVL was at Club 279 so I'm guessing this will be the same venue!

I was browsing for some other possible sound samples from the CD when I came across this item description for In Between Evolution.

In green you can see clearly "Parental Advisory" in green below the title. Then if you go into the album details, there it is again. And once again under the "Notes." Seems as they really wanted to make that clear.

Gordie must have dropped an f-bomb one too many times, nice! But, c'mon Janet Jackson shows half a teet during the Super Bowl and they are coming down hard on everybody. Guess they want to be extra careful.

How come Phantom Power didn't get a Parental Advisory for "...not giving an f about hockey..." hahaha.

Also, does this mean the younger Hip population might have to buy the "edited" version. As if that will really happen, or if an edited version will even exist.

Just thought it was interesting that The Hip would have that big black and white advisory label on one of their CD's.

PS - You can also check out 0:29 second clips here from IBE. I think they are the same clips as we were talking of before. Maybe this link will work better for others.

Hey all

Has anyone here ever lost a pair of concert tickets? Anyone dealt with ticket master on getting a pair of replacements? I've lost a pair of ducets for Friday's Sam Roberts gig in Cambridge, and now frantically tearing my house apart.

Thanks

Pat

So I was just moseying around the other day, eating a muffin to be exact, when it occurred to me that i dont really have a totally awesome Hip shirt. Sure, I have a few faded old junkers that i had made myself with the old iron, now crumbling off and all. But i want a totally awesome authentic hip shirt that i can strut my stuff in. I really wasnt very impressed with the shirts for the past two albums, I felt they were a bit half-assed and lacking in general 'wow'-ness.

So i was wondering, authentic or otherwise, if anyone has one or many really impressive hip shirts to show-off. I was thinking more of classic ones, such as a nice Road Apples shirt or something. Also, where i could find such an illustrious item. But anything will do, please share!

cheers

Hey all,
I was at this gig (outside in the rain) and it was amazing! I got the DVD from Peter awhile back and it too was great! However the DVD doesn't have the extra 5 songs that were played after the official I&I went off the air. I know that MM replayed the I&I with the missing footage a couple weeks later but I was unable to tape it.

Just wondering if anyone has a VHS copy (or knows of someone that does)they can B&P for me of the show with the 5 extra songs. It would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks for your time!
Aaron

A question has arisen as part of something I'm writing, hoping maybe somebody can help out... Smile

Gord has referenced Trudeau, both Pierre and Michel, many times on stage. And of course there's the "Bemoaned Trudeau" lyric from "Inch and Hour..." but I'm wondering if anybody has heard/read/been told if "Looking for a place to happen" has ever shown links to Pierre Trudeau... maybe during a rant on the 90/91 tour stops before FC?

I know "Looking" is about Europeans landing and the tragedy of the accepted and real history of North America, but PET often used the phrase in different forms during the '74 election campaign: "Wage and Price control is a doomed policy looking for a place to happen..." etc.

Anybody know of any link between Gord's "Looking" and Pierre's?

Any info, smart assed remarks or filthy limericks would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks alot
