I just got 12 U2 concert DVD's in a trade but i unfortunately can't watch them as they are in PAL Format.
I got them hoping they might work and heck it was a deal i couldn't pass up!
Is there anyone out there that is able to do convert these to NTSC?
I will trade any shows i have, send as many blanks as you need, let you make your own copies... whatever it takes!
I am dieing to see these shows.
If you can help please PM me and hopefully we can set something up.
Thank you for your time.
Colin W
I think it is strange that www.thehip.com doesn't even make the first page of listings on Google when you search for The Tragically Hip.

After all of these years of having a web presence, they've never added the necessary tags, to gain a high seeding.
On the other hand, Hipbase comes up. :thumb:
Is this a real tour shirt or someone's iron on?

Maybe the best live band out there today. I stand by it. Let's get the road trips together folks...
I lost my card to the Hip Club, I have been emailing the suport staff at "The Hip Club" but they don't reply. I would like to get back in
Any thoughts?
I'm wondering what movies people hate for reasons other than just that they're bad movies. (here's my posting, taken from the "Worst movies ever" thread)
This movie doesn't fit the "worst movie" category at all, but is one of my "most hated movies" ever... Requiem for a Dream. I know I'm gonna get flamed huge for posting that, because there are a lot of people that just adore that movie. Like I said, I'm not saying it's a bad movie, but man do I hate watching it. I can deal with violence, beheadings, people losing limbs, etc. in movies, but the one thing I can't deal with is young girls shooting up and giving up their bodies (especially for dope). That's why Monster's another movie I hate 'n would never watch again... although I completely agree with Charlize winning best actress and think the movie was very well done.
Hey all...if you know of a Hipbaser's birthday..use this thread to wish them a Happy Birthday. :thumb:
I'll start: Happy Birthday Angie (Dyersbay) Hope you have a nice one!
As a manager at one of the busiest restaurants in Halifax, I have access to countless cases of Labatt Blue, and have therefore come across many of those free CD's. I have an extra Hip CD, free to the first person that e-mails me at wpghipfan@hotmail.com with the answer to this question:
What was the date (month, day, year) of the famous Fort Henry show that the Hip performed in Kingston, for charity?

I hate it when I see Hip bootlegs on E-Bay, but I am INCENSED when it is a show that I've personally recorded....

Which two Hip albums do you think best show what the hip has done over the last 20+ years.
I say In Violet Light and Road Apples or In Between Evolution.
IVL is their softer side and RA and IBE are their harder side.
Now I'm not as experienced a hip fan as some of you so I'm really looking forward to reading your answers.
