Well, came home from visiting downstate and found out the phone had been turned off!! So, I'm posting this from the town firehouse. My boyfriend is an EMT and the Firefighter.

I'll be jumping back and forth between CNN for my sober intellectual benefit and Fox for my need to have a good long laugh at least once a day. Actually I found CBS's coverage of the last election pretty agreeable, so I'll be watching mostly CNN with some CBS. I'll be taping Jon Stewart's coverage. Don't want to miss a minute of it!

However, the Canadian networks are also doing their bit...CBC and CTV will be covering it. But I find them far too dry and light on the numbers when it comes to elections, so they won't get my viewership. When it comes to elections, I am a numbers junkie. I want CNN's four-hundred-stats-a-minute displayed on two tickers, a sidebar and being talked about.

saw on Chris and Kate's website that they are going to be touring with BB King sometime in December, they are also playing Nov 12th at the Living Room in NYC :thumb: :mrgreen:

read in a recent post(can`t remember where) that mentioned base being a bit cliquey....while its true that everyone here has a common love of all things hip, its only natural to have disagreement in any kind of conversation with hundreds of different people. its a little different at a show where everyone is basically focusing on the band. i think if everyone just gave a little less or took a little more, it would be all good. can i get a "hip yeah!"?

Just a shout out to any Hipbasers planning on going to the London gig. I was wondering if there's going to be a meet up at one of the local bars or pubs before the concert for a few drinks. If anyone is interested and wants to try and set something up, Id be willing to offer any suggestions being a life-long Londoner myself. I dont know how many of you are planning to attend but it would be fun to meet up before the show. Its gonna be a blast! :jump
