The Buffalo Bandits open the season vs. the Toronto Rock in Buffalo this friday night. Does anyone here give a damn about the National Lacrosse League?

does anyone have the contents listing for the second grab bag dvd that was up on the tracker (the xmas one)?
i'm gonna make up a cover for the set of two discs and don't know what's on the second one. seems to be gone from the tracker now.

Did anyone happen to tape this to VHS or better yet, straight to MPG?

I have the TPB Movie Pilot in MPG ripped from a few months ago and I wanted to make a DVD out of it. Once this Xmas special came out, my idea was to put them both on the same DVD, but everytime I tried to rip the Xmas special, my new ripping software would freeze.

I'm going to go on an email pleading rampage, endlessly asking Showcase & BBC Canada to re-air it, but I don't know if that'll happen before next Christmas. If anyone has the the TPB Xmas, please PM me. VHS is fine but MPG would be perfect, and obviously a DVD copy of the Pilot & Xmas shows is in it for you.

I'm not sure if this is already common knowledge?...but I received an e-mail from a Canadian chum last week:

"...I was in the studio a few months ago where a Gord Downey [Ed: Ahem, yeah, he's not a big Hip fan! ] version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" was being mixed for inclusion on a film that I was working on. You might know the original, or perhaps even the Jeff Buckley version. Folks here were very impressed with the result...it's some new music that should be coming your way in the spring (assuming that his damn winter eventually ends)."

And before anyone might ask... No. Somewhat bizarrely, he didn't tell me what the name of the film was, and now he's out of mail contact for a good while.

What a friggin blast Grand Forks was! It was hard to believe we were in the States with all the Canadians around. Why do border guards have to be such assholes? Every time we went through my cousin got the 3rd degree becasue he had visited Poland. How dare he! That rink is amazing. Every seat is leather. They security guy said that Ralph Anglestead (built the rink) didn't like the quotes he was given for the marble floors he wanted so he went out and bought his own mountain and trucked it in himself.

Highlights:

The drunk guy in front of me shouting at John Garret and Steven Sobalski until they did the wave with us.

The deafening roar of "Go Jets Go" and the baffled looks on the faces of the Americans.

Chanting "Go Canada Go" at the TSN booth until the lady held up the Please Be Quiet sign and then chanting "Please be Quiet".

It was such a treat to watch this team. We better smoke those classless Russians.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding new tour dates?

Seeing as the consensus around here seems to be that I'm immature, I figured I'd just roll with it for my last post before i go on tour for a month...

Hey all-
I've got a package of five DVD's wrapped, ready to go. Anyone out there willing to do a B+P for me? I'm looking for five of the best DVD's from the tour, Toronto, Detroit, Sydney, any of the club shows, whatever. If anyone could help, please let me know.
