As some of you may remember, The Darkest Canuck and I made a little wager before the NFL season kicked off in September.

The Darkest Canuck on Thursday, September 9th Wrote:if the phins win more games than the Bills then you can't post here for a month, if the Bills win more games i can't post here for a month...if the phins make the playoffs then you must sport a phins avatar for a month upon your return, if the bills make the playoffs then i must do the same but with a bills avatar.

The Bills are not my team, by the way - but I couldn't resist making the wager when DC said Ricky Williams was "overrated" and the Phins would be fine without him. DOH!

Anyway, tomorrow is the conclusion to the regular season and the Bills trounced the Phins: 9-6 vs 4-11. And if things go the Bills' way on Sunday, they will make the playoffs.

DC, I trust you will hold up your end of the wager. And if the Bills do make the playoffs, I'll get tragicallymike to pick out your Bills avatar for February.

With no NHL hockey on the horizon, it looks like you'll need your $200 million+ Yankees to get you back on track wager-wise.

I love snowboarding and especially those days in fresh powder. All the snow is gone here in toronto and its depressing after buying a new board on boxing day. Im dreaming of being at squaw valley california right now, with there 8 FEET of fresh snow in the past 2 days!!! Check out these pics...dammnnn

Dozens of kids hurt in New Year's sledding accident

MINOT, North Dakota (AP) -- Thirty-six children were injured in a sledding accident during an all-night New Year's Eve party hosted by a religious organization.

Three of the children were hospitalized, but all were in stable condition Saturday, hospital officials said. The others were treated and released.

Police Sgt. Winston Black said more than 100 children ages 12 to 19 attending a Youth for Christ event gathered at a high school around 4 a.m. to slide down a hill using sleds built out of cardboard boxes.

A sign posted on the hill prohibited sledding.

The children and Youth for Christ staff piled eight to 12 passengers on the sleds, then went down the hill in quick succession, Black said. "The sleds struck rocks, a light pole and each other," he said. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Black said he did not know if the organization had permission to use the hill. Police were investigating.

There was no immediate response to a call seeking comment from Youth for Christ headquarters on Saturday.

So... let me gloat again... we were in the front row for NYE last night. Good stuff!

Anyways... while we're up there enjoying the show, the security guard leans over the railing, and asks my girlfriend if she's shy.... (insert Johnny joke here)... she asks "why", and he says - you just got filmed for the DVD...

We noticed that there were a number of cameras up front in the pit for the entire show - not just the first three songs. Including one camera that seemed to be focussed on Bobby the whole time... we weren't watching the big screens the whole time, but some of the cameras were never used on the big screen.

Looked like to me like the Hip were wearing clothes very similar to what they wore at the TO show last month... me thinks that they may have been getting some filler shots of the band & the crowd for the DVD....

DId anyone tape the HDRC opening up for the HIP last night???

ID love to get a copy if you did!!!!!!
