Tried doing the shift-key thin, and it didn't work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm a HUGE college football nut, and since there doesn't seem to be a single peep about the Bowls or the BCS debacle, I guess I'll take the initiative (and please, let’s not have any of the ignorant remarks I’ve seen around here that associates football to redneckedness, okay?)

First off, I’m a Big 10 guy (Go Bucks!), which means I usually have no love for Southern or West Coast ball, but I must extend my congratulations to the Auburn Tigers and all who love and support them for a fantastic undefeated season in a top-notch conference. They are Co-National Champions in my book, and deserve to be acknowledged as such throughout the college football community.

The structure of the BCS is ridiculous, and is proven more so with each passing year and each new controversy. Auburn has delivered an historic 13-0 season, were crowned as Champions of both the SEC and the Sugar Bowl, and still are about to suffer the gross injustice of not being officially recognized as National Champion OR National Co-champion.

That, fans, is utterly unconscionable, and is a shafting of epic proportions.

Hey folks...

I just rented Troy today, and popped it in my DVD drive, but it is not reading it. I haven't had any trouble with any other DVD's. I'm not very computer-savvy when it comes to DVD's. Any ideas why Troy is not reading?

Caught this show for the first time last night, and it was fantastic. It's essentially what "Egos and Icons" used to be like before Muchmusic ruined it. Anyway, the show is split into two half-hour segments, each featuring a particular artist. Last night it was Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell. It's great stuff. Looks like it's on every night this week, and I believe tonight's show features Elvis Costello.

I just thought I would let everyone know that on Y108 out of Hamilton, they are auctioning off an autograhped Hip hockey jersey. The Hip signed it at the New Years show, and wanted it auctioned off, and the proceeds to go to the tsunami fund. The current bid that I last heard was $1500. It apparently comes framed.
It's a little high for my cheque book, but I thought I would share this info incase someone was interested in bidding on it.

Ugh... anyone else read where Shaun Alexander claim he was "stabbed in the back" because he ended up losing the NFL rushing yards title by one yard? Here's part of the article.

The Seahawks went ahead 28-20 with 4:28 remaining when quarterback Matt Hasselbeck scored on a one-yard sneak on second-and-goal.

Alexander, who will be an unrestricted free agent after this season, blamed that call for costing him a share of the rushing title. He finished with 80 yards on 19 attempts against Atlanta.

"It would have been sweet to get it," Alexander said. "I feel worse because we had a quarterback sneak for a touchdown. That hurts, but I'll be all right."

Uh, news flash Shaun... football is a TEAM sport, and the object is to WIN games and get into the PLAYOFFS, which your team did on Sunday. Complaining about your coach's decision that led to your TEAM scoring the WINNING touchdown is ridiculous at best. If I'm this guy's teammate, I can't wait to see this guy hit the bricks!

Does anyone know of a link for a FLAC to MP3 converter? or can I burn FLAC Files right to a cdr?
