It has been so long without a DVD, that I am at the point where I no longer crave a Tragically Hip DVD. I am quite content with the massive amounts of live music I have of theirs anyway.

Just think, they could be one of the only modern bands who existed who were amazing live and never came out with a DVD. Sure it would piss off half the fans, but it would make them that much more awesome.

Say what you will about how they never update their website, or release fun little things. . you know what i mean. . but I think it makes them absolutely awesome. They are the epitome of not selling out.

OK, so I'm intrigued about the new PlayStation Portable unit that is out, but I have a few questions/reservations. I'm on the road a fair bit, and would love to be able to play some games and watch some DVD's while I'm in all of the hotels (pay per porn starts to really add up)

My questions are:
1. Are these games and movies burnable or do I have to pay for each one?
2. Will they play MP3's... again something that I will burn
3. Can you even buy the little mini disks that all of the games and movies come out on?
3. Do you think it is worth it at all?

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

velvet revolver kicked my ass sooo freakin hard last night....scott weiland moved up to #2 on my fave lead singers list last night...i am sure you all know who is on the top of that list

One of my favorite bands of all time... Crowded House. Their drummer Paul Hester took his own life this weekend in Melbourne Australia.

Probably the first band I ever really started listening too when I was young. Their albums "Crowded House" and "Woodface" are two of my 10 ten fav albums all time.

With the talk of an ARA not this summer but next who would you like to see The Hip take on the road? Who are likely candidates? I'll start off with predicting Sam Roberts, The Weakerthans and the HDRC.

I am regular poster/and lerker, however have changed my name for this thread.

I have recently turned down a promotion, which offered more money, and a higher position.

I stand by my reasons for not taking the position, however feel I am in over my head now with the consequences, with that decision, and the time it took for me to reach it.

I have wasted the time of the people at the other location, in the company who were going to hire me, by taking so long to decide. However I need to live with that situation.

I am wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation?

Does anyone know where to find some dvd label art... ie. art to print on the label that is pasted to the disc itself.

I just read that all four of them sold out in something like 45 minutes. That's crazy! I've never heard of a band playing that many arena shows in one city before. I don't even think the Stones could sell out 4 in a row. Pretty impressive considering U2 are 25 years into their career.
