Finally it's finished. About a year ago some guy asked my band to do the background music for a cartoon he was making. He payed for the studio time, and we were more than happy to do it. Check it out, I think it turned out pretty good.

Anyone know where they got thier name?

My Grandmother always had them when I was a kid and we just got her a new bag the other day. I found it funny that they're made by necco in the USA.

Hello all,
Many moons ago I owned this wonderful Hip video (Heksenketle), but it was long since lost/stolen during my stay at one of our countries finest post-secondary institutions (UNB). I recently began a search to find another copy but I've come up empty handed... there aren't even any left at the maplemusic.com site!
So my question to you, fellow Hipsters, has anyone transfered this video to DVD? And if so, would anyone be willing to B&P or trade a copy.
I want it, I need... Gords rant during Pigeon Camera (at least I think it's during that tune) is priceless!

Just picked this DVD up this morning. The downtown HMV here in Calgary only had one freakin' copy, and luckily I managed to grab it before anybody else. Not that I needed to rush down there or anything. I don't think anybody in this city even knows who this band is, which is fine by me. They're my little secret.

Anyways, it's a fantastic DVD and if you're into these guys I highly recommend picking it up. I've never had the privilege of seeing them live, so this is the next best thing. There's some cool backstage footage mixed in with the concert, which is great. At one point they show where Kurt Cobain scribbled his name on the wall of the dressing room, which is completely covered in graffiti from other bands who have played there. I seem to remember the Hip playing at the 40 Watt a couple times when they were touring the south. I wonder if their name is scrawled on the wall too?
