This is one of the better historical articles I've read on the band, despite calling it "Inbetween Revolution" at one point.
"Our next album should be out in the spring of 2006 and should be our best yest judging by the two songs we've recorded" -- I paraphrase so much.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy on VHS of the Hip playing Saturday Night Live a while back?
Hey guys...been lurking but havent had enough time to get into anything really...
Sorry to post just to mooch off the high quality tech know-how around here, but I have downloaded a concert torrent in 24 bit WAV format and I can't figure out how to convert them to CD-burnable 16 bit. Two things:
1) I would have asked at the source but they specifically said if you don't know what to do with them, don't waste your time downloading. Now I DO know what to do with them, because I know enough about it to know they were intended to be burned to DVD, and I COULD do that if I wanted. Bt I do want them on CD.
2) I did google...and then I googled some more...and googled some more. (And I also searched to find out if it had been brought up here before). I found tons of info about 24 bit WAV, and lots of pages about what happens when you convert from 24 to 16, but I havent been able to find anything about a program that can actually do it.
Any suggestions?? I would really appreciate it...thanks so much! Happy easter everyone!!!
What the hell does it have to do with being an R.N.??????? ( really, besides the chemistry of life, but this stuff just deals with elements and math) I am doing chem homework on my spring break to keep caught up and it is making me wonder:

Would love to start a database of other ftp's... I'd like FTP info, though I do know people were looking for Pearl Jam info, there is the Pearl Jam DC++ hub. here's some info on that:

Run the program and fill out your settings - your nickname, password, the type of connection you're on, etc. - and be sure to share your directories containing Pearl Jam!
Connect to pj23.dynip.com.
When connected, you'll see a list of people in the hub. Just double-click a user's name to load their list, or you can search for files.
Be sure to follow the following rules that you'll see when you enter:
You must share at least 500mb of Pearl Jam audio (flac, shn, mp3).
No studio albums. Only share live music from bands that allow taping.
No VCDs/DVDs.
No WAREZ, PORN, Programs, etc.

Can't wait until the awards telecast. I've got tickets and I can't wait to see them play Meridian...just a hunch!
As for surprise shows/appearances, I think the Harmer show would be a safe bet to at least catch a glimpse of the boys; well, at least Gord.
Don't bank an a show Friday evening, though. I noticed that Paul and Gord S. have been added to the roster for the Juno Cup hockey game in Selkirk. I have second row seats so I'll be sure to snap as many pics as I can of Gord S. crunching Dale Hawerchuk into the boards ;-) Still no mention of Gord D. in net; should I start giving up hope for that?
BTW, is anyone else partaking in any of the Juno festivities? For those of you not in town, we'll try to keep you informed of all the events/surprises of next week!
