maybe it's because my dad is english, and of course growing up we watched anything related to england, but i always find myself caught up in it..and i'm really not that big of a tennis fan, but i'm drawn to it...and well..ok.. :oops: i kinda like maria sharapova..... :oops:

The promoter of the show said that there was room for 21 performers on the show. Yesterday the 21st act was announced as being DMC of Run DMC. I was hoping for a big name to be announced as the last performer. I'm thinking that battling the traffic on the 400 isn't going to be worth it to see 15 minute sets from a few bands that I want to see.

Anybody? I might have to be late for the show and dont want to drive all the way there and miss the hip/OLP/sam/jann arden...just kidding!

How many hipbasers are heading up anyways?? i cant wait to see Neil!! Ive seen him once (pearl jam show in toledo) and that old man can rock!!

Probably not much interest in this topic, but I just have to say that the song "Van Lear Rose" is :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I've been listening to the album recently. I have to say it's pretty good. Sorry, I didn't search to see if this was brought up. I'm pretty sure it was already a while back.

In Between Evolution was released to us Hip fans. After having one full year to listen and reflect on this album, it is truly one of the best of the Hip's catalogue.

Need your esteemed opinions here.

Dating this girl, and not quite sure about her.

She's pretty, I'm attracted, she's smart, but something is just not there.

1). Emotionally cold. Nothing there man.

2). She's a debuatante. Like coming out parties and shit. I am soooo not into that! Hockey, the hip, and SNES NHL 1995 are my kinda things!

3). She's a wasp, and is sorta put off by my catholcism.

4). She's a rich bitch, raised by maids (life aquatic), and I'm a poor english and history teacher.

5). So unsure of her, that I can never really be myself around her. She kinda makes me nervous in a way. Like you gotta watch what you say around her.

What do you guys think? I'm I just looking for flaws b/c I don't want to commit? Or are these legit???

Giving the timing of it, I'd assume its for Live8. If thats true Im really starting to regret not going, especially since Neil Young got added to the show, I know him and PJ have a great relationship so that only fuels the fire more.

It was initially stated that CTV would start coverage at 1 am ET (as per news release below) but it seems that time has now been changed to 7 am ET.
