Well, it's that time again...

So here's the deal this time. I'm not sure what's going to happen to this. I might have to break it into bits, or release it as a DVD or something. It's a little ridiculous for the web, but wtf . . . so you guys should enjoy this . . .

A satisfactory recording of an excellent show from 1995's
Another Roadside Attraction. Things start with a bang on
an extend NOIS including a great "Past..." jam. John
Popper lends a hand on Fight. Early versions of Giftshop
and Springtime make an appearance. Gems includes a
Flamenco tease and the 100 Years Old jam. Even a verse of
Edelweiss makes and appearance during IOD. A long intro
lulls us into Daredevil (for Peter Gzwoski), and “Linda,
Vince and Tim” help out on a version of Gordon Lightfoot's
Summerside Of Life.

Any ideas on who "Linda, Vince and Tim" are? I presume Linda MacRae from Spirit of the West. Looking back on the other bands there, I can only guess Tim Vessely from The Rheostatics, but I don't know about Vince.

Does anyone know what show this happened at? I know it was ARA '93, but I have no idea at which show.
For those wondering what the hell I'm talking about, Gord does a great little rant near the end Pigeon Camera after "some dude" runs across the stage and jumps into the crowd. He asks if everyone in the area is OK, then he busts into a "he was my man... I should have had him, he was my man" rant that includes John Wayne, and Clint Eastwood.
Classic.

Does anyone know the history? Why did they break up? I saw Thornley Saturday night and Ian didn't seem to care about the new stuff, but he talked upi the Big Wreck songs they played?

HP finally "mass released" their new drive recently.
It is pretty damn cool - it is a CD/DVD burning drive that after you burn the CD, flip the disk over and the same laser creates the label on the CD.
No more dumb ass labels that peel off or anything.
It looks just like a regular CD drive.

I figured the price would be outrageous, but this weekends paper had the DVD burner for $89 US. And the disks are only 50 cents a piece.
