Show notes:
1. For 3 songs at the end of the first disk - one very "energetic"
girl would not stop screaming - which was pretty annoying.
So in between disk one and disk two I hopped in my Delorian and went
back in time and killed her - so now she does not ruin disk two.

2. Cordelia was played in between Boots or Hearts and 38 Years Old
But it is of very low quality and is therefore not included.

3. Last Of The Unplucked Gems and Reformed Baptist Blues made up
The final encore - but unfortunatley were not included in my
original copy of this show.

  2005 Hipbase Member of the Year Award

The first annual Hipbase Member of the Year Award will be given out to a member of the Hipbase community. The recipient of the award must first and foremost have a genuine love for The Tragically Hip. Secondly, the ability to come up with creative and innovative ideas for promoting the Tragically Hip, (be it fansites, promotional ideas, bootlegs, etc.). The recipient must also have a positive attitude in the forum, while providing answers and insight about the knowledge they have accumulated over years of fandom. Nominate yourself in this thread, and state reasons for why you deserve to be the Hipbase Member of the Year. If you feel like you are not quite up to the standards of becoming a nominee (there's always next year...), you can second the nomination of a prolific member that has helped you become a bigger fan of the Tragically Hip.
Out of these potential nomination applicants, several will be chosen to become official nominees for the Hipbase Member of the Year Award. A democratic vote will follow, where all Hipbase members will have the opportunity to select Hipbase Member of the Year. The winner will be announced in the new year, and will recieve a spot on the virtual Hipbase Member of the Year plaque, with fully engraved username and avatar.

I'm just wondering what the writer is implying. He talks about the fans in a negative manner. At first I thought the crowd was dead but I guess I was wrong. Is the writer criticising the fans for being loud at a Wilco concert(s)? I heard the opposite complaint about the Toronto Hip fans. Big Grin

  U2 Floor Seating

I have a quick question about U2 floor seating. I have read the 'Door Procedure' on their website about how floor seating tickets are eligible to gain access to the 'ellipse' through a random process. Do you have to be in line at a certain time to be elligible for this, and is there any benefit to being there earlier?

I know this is asking a lot from memory, or possibly, from pre-existing lists, but as a major fan of the Hip (but only became one about two years ago), I was wondering a few thigns about the videos the Hip have made over the years.

1. What order were the music videos released in from each album?

2. Did they chart on the MuchMusic Top 30 Countdown? If so, how far on the Countdown did they get?

3. What Hip singles have been released without accompanying videos?

4. In general, how big of a hit were the Hip singles/videos?

I know this is asking a lot, but thanks in advance Big Grin
