carlin was brought up in another thread so i thought i'd start a best stand up comic thread...top five of all time!!!!

watched happy endings the other day, and i had no idea she could sing..she's got a really sexy sutlry voice, and makes a billy joel tune that i hated by him into something i love...just the way you are..download it and love it!!!

Does anyone know if there is any correlation between the Hip's Goodnight Josephine and the Yardbirds' Goodnight Sweet Josephine? To me the lyrics are vaguely similar, but I'd probably just assume that it was coincidence.

Looks like another attempt to cash in, like the recent Dan Brown/da Vinci Code lawsuit. If the guy wants royalties as the story says, he's essentially claiming songwriting credit. Reminiscent of the lawsuit against Sarah McLachlan after Surfacing made a pile of money.

Vigilante to others. Hero to those families.

Both individuals, registered sex offenders in the state, had been fatally shot – their bodies were discovered Sunday morning.

Marshall was reportedly seen leaving the home of one of the victims in a pick-up truck belonging to his father. It’s not clear at this point whether there’s any connection between Marshall and the two men.

Marshall had gone to Maine for the first time to meet his dad, who lives there.

State police warned Boston authorities that Marshall could be heading their way after the vehicle was found abandoned.

Police discovered bullets linked to him in the bathroom at a bus station in Bangor.

No one else on the bus was injured when Marshall took his own life, Procopio said, but five passengers sitting nearby were taken to area hospitals to be checked out.

The killings prompted police to take down the Maine Sex Offender Registry as a precaution – it lists the photos, names and addresses of more than 2,000 registered sex offenders.

I found this fairly amusing last night: I was introduced to some new people who were from the other side of the city. The intro went like this:
My friend: Sean, this is Josh and Danielle.

I found this even more amusing looking back on it.

I loved the Rocket, he's my favorite hockey player of all-times so Im really looking forward to this movie. I dont think you have to be a Habs fan to really enjoy it, just a hockey fan. So I encourage all to see it, it looks well done.
