As some of you may have picked up on, my only goal in life is to make sure you all pick up The Wrens' album "The Meadowlands." That's all there is left for me.
So I thought I'd copy and paste a youtube link to an interesting video. They're performing "Everyone Choose Sides", one of my favourite songs, in some guy's house. It's not a great performance. But look at what the drummer is using for percussion. That's utility, baby.

In View is number nine on The Hits Chart at Canoe, which I believe his the highest position for a Hip song since Poets and Bobcaygeon. Can anyone back this up or know otherwise? How high will it get?

They took the ninth caller to qualify for breakfast with Gord - and then Kristy Knight made the announcement.

I was just watching Hockey night in Canada and before the Oilers' game they played a short clip of last playoffs with "in View"! After the clip they had a plug for the album and promised a second cut from the album for saturday night!!!

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but if you go onto iTunes, you can pre-order World Container and included are two additional tracks - live versions of Pigeon Camera from a show in Hamburg in 1992 and NOIS from the 1993 ARA tour.

This is freakin' hilarious. Enjoy!

Just saw a preview of tomorrow's show...They showed clips from the 100th Meridian, Ahead By A Century and In View...talked about looking back through The Hip's career in a "different light" or something like that...Anyway, guess they're gonna do a spot on them tomorrow morning, 10.00...
