...actually i'm going North. Just in case anyone ends up wondering where i am over the next few weeks...

a medical emergency has suddenly arose, and i have to go to Winnipeg...

just this weekend i found out that my girlfriend has a cyst on one of her ovaries, and it's quite serious (if it bursts she could die), so her and i are going to see the specialist in Winnipeg on Wednesday, and hopefully her surgery will occur shortly after, and she'll be on her way to a speedy recovery ASAP...

anyway, i won't be around here for a while...if there are any religious/spiritual types out there, your prayers wuold be much appreciated...non-believers: well-wishes, encouragement, support, kind thoughts/words also much appreciated.


don't worry about it too much, i'm sure the board will be fine without me Tongue (it won't, but you've got to be strong people!).


ps: I'll call the Tigers to win the WS...just because it seems like w/e i pick on here never wins it anyway lol!

Has anyone ever succeeded in using this third rate service?

My son got a gift card with 10 free downloads, and I've spent about an hour trying to actually check out. Every time I go to check out, it simply logs me out and empties the shopping cart. I've checked the security settings, reviewed the help, etc. And I can't get anywhere.

Do they actually not want you to buy music? Are they trying to make it hard?

Has anyone run into this before?

  Do the Hip use pitch control?

You know, that technology that adjusts a singer's voice so that it's always 'on pitch.' I ask because the new vocals sound pretty pitch-perfect compared to the more wobbly, whacked-out stuff on IBE. Green Day uses it and so does a pile of other bands, so they'd be in good company - but that technology still makes me wanna puke.

a video of Fly performed at the sasquatch music festival. i know i can't get it until after the album drops but does anyone have it?

Preferrably the same one that was shown briefly on msn's webcast or whatever it was called.
