Seeing a post by BuffaloHipFan about a 1998 Hip poster I remembered that I had an old poster from my first hip show at the University of Guelph Sept. 8th 1988 – I will always remember thinking I had just witnessed something special that night and have been a fan since

anyway thought I would share a scan of the poster

I found this in my basement, it was hanging on a streetpost in Buffalo, I wish I would have grabbed more, I remember seeing at least 10. It's pretty cool. The Hip had to leave the stage early during the encore because thr snowfence seperating them from the crowd got knocked down and security was sparse.

It looks like a carnival ad.

Pretty cool - and it is free.

And you can persoanlize it.
Get rid of "this" crappy song
Don't play "this" song for a month I am tired of it....Etc
I think it goes back to your artist every 5th song.

Are there any ramblings about a secret show for Calgary on Halloween? Seeing that they are playing three nights in a row then off for the 31st then back on the stage on the 1st. They are in town but what are they going to do that night.

I would die for something like this...

Looks like there is now a second Victoria show...
well, not a second... but now a first... before the second... which used to be the first. Oh whatever, you get it!

Hopefully this won't get flamed by the search police...
but for the past even numbered years (2004, 2002 and 2000) the Hip have performed on NYE
Living in Hamilton, it was quite easy to make the last 2 NYE shows
Has there been any word on this matter, regarding the ringing in of 2007?

I know the Hip won't be at Copps this year because Blue Rodeo is instead
