I seem to have exhausted all my resources for friends and Hip shows. I am planning on going to the Montreal show on the 10th and don't really want to go alone. Anyone want to share a ride?

HI all,

Sorry for the long lay-off. Rob has been busy with the new fricken amazing Hip release "World Container" and I have been holed up writing new songs with Doug Elliott & Pat Steward (Strippers Union, Odds).

We have a show coming up. I will be hosting an evening of music for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's "Rock For Research" at the Hyatt Ballroom in Vancouver on Nov 11 @ 10:30pm. Strippers Union will play and host Paul Hyde (Payola$, Rock & Hyde), Bill Henderson (Chilliwack) and his daughters Camille and Saffron, and the great Jim Byrnes.

Hope you can make it.

I absolutely love this song!!!!

My friend used to be fat, and got made fun of for it, so then he lost a lot of weight, but it scarred him and he still thought he was fat even though he's skinnier than Downie.

It's funny because he would always say, "look at me I'm fat, I'm as big as a fucking ocean. I'm the Atlantic Ocean", then I would always have to calm him down and I would say, "Kelly!! Yer Not the Ocean!!"


When I first heard the song I was like "HOLY SHIT, that is the perfect song for him!!!!!"

He's better now because he went to a mental institute. But I definately had to play that song for him.

Read this on a forum today. I don't qualify either condition but someone here might.

$500 Bond for baby born after 2004 if Fam. net Income <36K

For babies born in 2004 onwards, the Government is giving out $500 bond for those parents to open up a RESP plan. You do not need to deposit any money into the plan even!

2 conditions
1. Born 2004 onwards
2. Family net income is $36,378
Family receives the Canada Child Tax Benefit payment AND the National Child Benefit Supplement.*

They will also pay $25 admin fee if u are charged one.

On top of $500 initial Bond, they will pay $100/yr that the family qualifies until kid is 15.

If u know of someone who may meet this, get them to call to find more info: 1 800 O Canada

I know a couple of people who got the 500$. They didnt put a penny down even. Free!

I know someone is going to get on my case about not searching, but I did, and I couldn't find this, even though I KNOW it's out there somewhere.

Does anyone have the number of records each Hip album sold? It doesn't matter about the EP or World Container, I just need the amount each other album sold. It's for a project.

in honour of today..for me Halloween, the first one, scares the shit out of me everytime i see it..the lighting, the music, the way the "boogeyman" moves..freaky...exorcist 1 and 3 are up there as well
