So the boys pulled out Fiddler's Green in Calgary tonight... hock:

No foolin'. I just checked the setlist archive and couldn't find any record of them having played Fiddler's Green before. Can anyone think of a show (recorded or otherwise) when they played it?

Hey Everyone,

I really enjoy listening to the new album and find all the tracks solid. My only disappointment is that after many listens, I'm still not sure any of the tracks would crack my top 20 Hip list.

I know it's still early and it did take a while before songs like Dire Wolf and Josephine to find their way into my dream setlist. Right now, World Container is the only album that doesn't have a track in my top 20, other than the EP.

I'm sure most of you have a dream setlist and I was just curious if any tracks off the new album have found a spot in your Top 20. Also, are there any Hip albums that don't contain a track on your top 20.

Well as we all know we all share a common connection - the hip.

But why not create a thread where we can network amongst ourselves, maybe find smeone who work in your same office you had no idea was a hip fan, maybe someone who works up the street, or maybe just someone who works somwhere that you might need to contact in the future. Maybe someone wil have questions about a certian career... who knows.

Ill start:

Im a Business Manager for a Honda Dealership in Souther Ontario - all the way down in Woodstock Ontario ( about 30 minutes west of KW - 30 mins East of London ) I look after all the financing of customers, extended warranty sales - and of course I get to sell a few cars while im at it.

Hi guys, I was just wondering your oppinions on this matter...

Are most of the venues on this current tour (and venues in Canada in general) all seated? It seems to me a lot of them are, but do you think that this takes something away from the gig experience? Personally, if at all possible I prefer to have standing tickets at a concert (and usually at least 98% of concerts over here will have some form of standing section).

I am just interested to know your thoughts. Obviously, I'd rather have a seated ticket for a Hip show than no ticket at all.

my girlfriend has a month-old black lab, and he's adorable...pees everywhere, haha, but nonetheless, adorable! he and i are the only two awake in the household...scratchin him as i type this...quality time, hehe...consider yourself appreciated Mr. Fuzzle (his name's Khol, but i nicknamed him that..my friend's cat is already Mr. Fuzzums (real name: Cheech) hehe,so that's the next best name).

Hey folks... just got a new laptop with a DVD burner. With no disc in teh drive, it registers as a DVD burner, but when a DVD-R is put in, it reads as a CD. Because of this, DVD Shrink, and Nero, does not work for burning DVD's. Can anyone help me with this?

This is probably an exercise in futility, but i'd imagine if a bunch of people post this thread could become awesome like most threads that generate a bunch of interest.

I only have two: Note the eeeerie similarity of "the kids don't get it" and "pretend." Anyone have any clue what they mean if they are linked? If you think they're linked, what links them other than some common lyrics?

Also, even though the final song, world container, has a melody that reminds me a bit of a meatloaf ballad, I can't help but wonder if this is a message about it being the end of the road for the hip?

You think this is the last new album?
"Don't forget?" "How'd it get so late so early?" "What you'll find there are all flaws in progress?"
Any ideas? Comments?
