Hadn't heard Goodnight Attawapiskat for a while, but it popped up with my iPod on shuffle. Never gave much thought to the opening line, until hearing it this time:

Couldn't help but wonder if Gord's attire for the MMP tour was somehow a take off of this lyric

Hey does anyone know what year it was when The Tragically Hip played at the Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma?????? Anyone here on this forum actually see the show in OKC?

So I heard from a friend who has some high-level contacts at the Key Bank Center (formerly First Niagara Center) that the Hip are indeed set to play two dates in November.

I was skeptical of this and will remain skeptical until it's announced but my friend is confident this is happening.

Apparently, they are just trying to work out some insurance issues, which may explain why the US was left out of the summer tour.

Kingston was the perfect last tour stop but who knows? Maybe a jaunt through Buffalo, Detroit, Cleveland, Boston, New York and Seattle is in the cards. Guess we'll find out.
