I was just curious as to if anyone had these shows or any other shows from winnipeg that aren't listed on the archive?
I had a har drive crash awhile back and lost everything. Was on here about 10 years ago but lost my info. Anyways good to be back .would like to find these shows. Also the FULL DVD of the warchild benefit show I'm in search for.
1993 the winnipeg stadium 1996 (both nights and 1997 another roadside attraction. Any help would be gracially appreciated. Good day!

My girlfriend and I are working on a project for work that involves Rob Baker of The Tragically Hip. He will be interviewed for one episode of a 6 part series that focuses on the history of Canadian music. The episode he will be on, obviously focuses on The Hip and their role in shaping Canadian music.

I thought it would be cool at the end to ask him a few questions from some of his biggest fans.

The Hip's 'Fully Completely' has been nominated for the 2016 Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize.

The Polaris Music Prize is a not-for-profit organization that annually honours and rewards artists who produce Canadian music albums of distinction. And the Slaight Family Polaris Heritage Prize in particular honours Canadian albums OF THE PAST from four distinct time periods: 1960-75, 1976-85, 1986-95 and 1996-05. To quote the website:

"Like the Polaris Music Prize, winners and nominees for the Heritage Prize are albums of the highest artistic quality, without regards to sales or affiliations. Think of the Heritage Prize as our version of a hall of fame where we try to determine who would have won the Polaris Music Prize in the years before Polaris existed.
How it works is a select group of Canadian music media and historians gather together each year to create a vote-curated list of 10 Short List-nominated albums per era. Two albums per era, one chosen by public vote and one chosen by juror vote, will be designated as Heritage Prize winners each year.A select panel of music critics judge and award the Prize without regard to musical genre or commercial popularity."

Looking for a copy of the Grand Bounce vinyl.

Throughout the summer The Facebook fan forum and its members raised over $50000 via various fundraising efforts including group auctions and fan prepartys during the tour across Canada and in Buffalo. All funds raised to date have donated to Sunnybrook Hospital. We are all very proud of what has been accomplished but this is just the beginning! We have formed a fundraising committee and have big plans. Moving forward we have decided to split our fundraising efforts to include secret path. We have opened a new website,Instagram,Twitter,and Facebook page, all dedicated to raising $ for these 2 funds in Gord's name. There is a dedicated "gift shop" with unlicensed fan inspired merchandise available for purchase with all proceeds being directed to these 2 funds. We are in the early stages of planning our 1st ever "hipcon" convention for fans to come together and celebrate the band and their music and to raise money for both charities.
