I was reading the interviews from here

and found this! Thought it was cool!


….. There would a bunch of different versions and they would pick the ones they liked best. In the week that followed they would refine those versions until the band was completely happy with them. A song like Coconut Cream was like that. They had played that song quite a bit and had plenty of different arrangements. When they did the version that's on the record the power went out at the very end of the take, that's why it doesn't have the usual cadence ending. What ends the song now is Johnny's recording of the Blue Angel's flying over San Francisco.

Thats so cool to learn why they did that


PS is this song about sperm?

Seems to me that I don't remember seeing this episode with my daughter??

So last night i had a series of very strange dreams, one of them included the song WC. it went like this....

me and some friends were in a grocery store and with us was a young (maybe 9-10 year old) black boy. so me and my friends are scattered through out the grocery store and the young boy, my friend johnny and i were in an aisle when world container came on the PA system. i of course got all excited and started to sing so the young boy and my friend joined in. this where it gets a little weird. so we get right into the ong and we all start dancing around like fairies! haha, when i say fairies i don't mean homosexuals.... i just mean fairies if that makes any sense. shit, maybe we did look like homosexuals. anyways, so we come around the corner of the aisle around the main entrance and absolutely evryone in the grocery store is dancing and singing at the top of their lungs and it just turned into one giant party. people were riding the grocery carts and people sitting in them and singing inside. maybe i'm just rambling on but i thought i had to share this with you guys. it was a great dream......

so that was the dream and to top ot off i wake up, have a coffee and there was a ring at the door. i answered it and it was my copy of Day For Night vinyl i ordered off maplemusic.com just a few days ago! 8)

Looks like some of the boys are going to make it, I didn't think they would.

I am surprised by the lackluster response to The Tragically Hip covers of classic David Bowie tunes. It makes sense to me that they have a deep respect for Mr. Bowie. Does the average Hip fan like David Bowie?

I just got back from the "Halifax Premiere" (whatever that means) of Hannibal Rising. Its no Silence of the Lambs, but its 100 times better than that crap on film known as "Hannibal".

Oh, and if you are from in and around Saskatoon... sleep with one eye open .
