I think it's time that CBC & HNIC looks at their announcers, and realize that a few choice people have worn out their welcome. They have a lot of younger announcers who are more in touch with the game who should move up.

Would really love it, Used to have the boot but lost it in the move...

Does anyone own a copy of this LP that is NOT the Holland pressing?

I first saw the HIP at the Misty Moon in Halifax.
The second time was at the Capri Club in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and I think it was the same year.
Does anyone know when this show was, and how do I add it to my concerts seen?

P.S: Both me and my girlfriend are goin to Seattle and to Portland to see them again.

Look for the Dude in the Hockey jersey(not sure which one yet(Leafs or Canucks) and the Nova Scotia flag. See you all there. Shocked

Why can't you buy "Titanic Terrarium" or "Emergency" on iTunes ... ??

Anybody know why?

(I think a version of Terrarium was released in Live10, but you still can't buy the studio version)

What song do you feel should have been on one of The Hips albums, that didnt make the cut.

I personally think that it's a damn shame that Radio Show or Ouch didn't make the cut

I discovered the Hipbase a couple of months ago. Untill that point I knew only the music and nothing about the band. I must confess I thought Paul was the dude with the long hair. The Tragically Hip were a privet source of energy for me. Then I found the Hipbase. It blew my mind to find so many people so dedicated to the Hip. I came up with the idea of suggesting a story to NPR about The Tragically Hip. During my research I realized they story was not so much the band but about the support structure that sprung up around them. While other bands and record labels struggle to advance into the 21st century, The Tragically Hip have arrived, set up camp, busted out the cooler, raised a flag poll and made themselves at home. The reason they are the successful voyagers that they are is because of the trail blazing work of their advance scouts led by Chris the lighthouse keeper. One only has to look at the incredible body of work this guy has produced to realize his talent and character. We the fans and indeed the band themselves owe a great debt to Chris. I want to thank him for all he has given me. I want to that him for his kindness. I want to thank him for sharing his positive energy. I want to thank him for the awesome fucking videos of the club tour. Thanks Chris.
