I'm working on a completist project, where i'm trying to track down popular rants, covers, b-sides from the hip.
I've been using Stephen Dame's directory (http://www.hipmuseum.com/unreleased.html) as the gospel, and have made excellent progress. I heard a rumour that when it docked in Kingston last week, The Hip boarded and played an acoustic set. Maybe it was Gord with Secret Path as he/the foundation is involved with this ship. But my rumour said it was The Hip.

I saw Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds at Massey Hall last night, and about fifteen minutes before he came on, He walked in, accompanied by one of the Hip's managers. Gord walked right past us and went backstage, then came back and sat towards the back of the floor.

He looked good.

And yes, he was wearing double denim and the First Ave hat.

Can't make it to the RHCP show in Ottawa, looking to sell my two tickets. Seats are second row, section 209. Just looking to get face value for them, total prices, taxes and all was $288.80

One of my favourite bands of all time. I have def heard a few things about Gregg Allman's character over the years... however there is no denying his musical contributions to Southern Rock and the Jam Band movement.

Thanks for all the tunes Gregg. Will be rocking Blue Sky hard tonight (along with the rest of my fav Allman album).
