Ive really been digging "Thompson Girl" lately and was wondering if I was the only one caught by surprise by the high pitched Gord in some parts of the song. I remember watching him being interviewed on "the Hour" with George Stroumboloupulous and he specifically mentioned having to quit smoking to able him to reach higher notes for the WC album. I am definately not saying that Gord's singing wasn't as good before the release of the song on Phantom Power, but does anyone know if he had quit smoking at this point? Its meant to be more of an observation than a question i guess...Im sure you've all noticed that his singing has much evolved in the last few years. He can now hit notes that he couldn't multiple years ago...

I just saw this song on iTunes... I don't see how there was a bonus or single song in the last 10 years that I didn't know about.

Where is this song from? Where can I get it? Is it good? Etc?

Any Final Four Predictions? Anyone's bracket been busted up yet?

I am going for Louisville, Memphis, Syracuse, Villanova for the Final Four. Not likely to happen but what the hell.

This year all top seeds look strong enough to make it but I couldn't be "that guy" that went for all four top seeds. Dick Vitale did though..haha.

Just wondering how people outside of Canada plan to get the new CD?

I am a fan of buying the actual disc, not using iTunes to download it. With the independent record stores going out in the Buffalo area, I was looking for some advice. I could always drive across the border to pick it up but that would be a last resort (don't really want to deal with the bridge traffic).

I see it on the BestBuy.com site but wonder if they will stock it in stores on the release date. In U.S. Best Buys I have only really seen Yer Favorites in stock, non of the earlier albums.

The pre-order options online always take longer to arrive and there is no way I can read all the reviews here without being able to listen for myself....that would be torture.

Just wondering what folks here had planned or if anyone knows of stores that will carry it.
