Hi all... so my wife, brother in-law and I bought 3 tickets to the Boston show in May (we live in Buffalo)
Out of the excitement of the on-sale date, I neglected to realize that my cousin is getting married that day and we can not go to the show, for as much as we'd love to.
If anyone is interested in purchasing these seats off me, I do not want to rip anyone off...in the economic times though, I don't want to lose all my money either. The tickets came to $37 each after fees, and I would gladly sell them for $100 American.
I would prefer to sell them all together, but since it is GA, I suppose it doesn't really matter.
If you are interested, please contact me at BStrauss24@hotmail.com. No reason to fill up the board with this.

Match-up #9 - Opiated Vs. Wheat Kings
I ask you to listen to the two songs in the match-up Back to Back, and consider the lyrics of the song. Feel free to post an unbiased analysis of both songs in this thread, but please refrain from cheerleading or making predictions for your favourites.
As always, you can hear both songs played back to back streaming online at http://www.power97.com at 11PM CST, 12AM EST.

If you've never had the chance to see Fogerty live, i definitely recommend doing so on his upcoming Canadian tour. The man puts on an amazing show! His voice still sounds as good as ever, he still brings a ton of energy to the stage, and he is an incredible guitar player. I haven't heard who's touring with him, but i assume he'll have Kenny Arnoff behind the drums again, who is IMO one of the best rock drummers in the business. His hits catelogue is as impressive as any, as he plays a mix of both CCR classics & solo material.

I know alot of there songs symbolize recreational drugs, such as the pot leaves in the fish tank at the beggining of Poets. Any non hip fan seeing Downie live for a first time would assume he is on drugs, and Im just wondering if anyone knows or has any theories about the Hips stance on Drugs/Alchohal??
Ive always wonderd, thanks

Hey all,
Huge fan (40 shows or so), but fairly new to the boards. I have an extra pair for the 3rd night of Calgary. One of my "friends" "needed them" so I bought an extra set. When it came time to pay up, he of course backed out, citing being broke.
Anyways, the pair is row L, on the main level. The Jubilee starts floor starts elevating around row H or so. Perfect height, perfect view! Anyone want them? Face value of course, and I can drop them off, or arrange a meet up.
E-mail mbgibson@live.com if interested.

Not sure if there's any fellow THS fans on this board but I would be grateful in the extreme if some kind soul over there could record and get this show onto a DVD and mail it over to me!
Otherwise I have zero chance of seeing this here in the UK and it looks great from the preview....
Tune in to the public television series “Live from the Artists Den” to see an intimate, private Hold Steady concert recorded in New York City at the Old Emigrant Savings Bank Building, a lavish former bank built in 1908.
Each week, the hour-long series spotlights an extraordinary artist performing in an extraordinary setting, along with artist interviews and insights about the unconventional venues chosen.
Of playing in the unique room, singer Craig Finn said before the show, “It takes the barrier out and you know your fans are right there, which makes you do something a little different that what you’re used to doing.”
To watch a sneak peek and check local listings, visit TheArtistsDen.com.
New York City air dates:
Thirteen: Thursday, March 26 at 10pm
WLIW21: Saturday, April 11 at 10pm
The link to watch a full-song video from their episode is:
