Nice to see a second encore. Pretty cool show, though I couldn't see half the time! The crowd was awesome, everybody on their feet dancing and singing from the get-go. Still wishing for Emperor Penguin.....someday. Ah well, so ends my Tragically Hip summer experience!
I went to the Molson Candian Snow Jam in Winnipeg this weekend. Friday night I caught Swollen Members and Sloan. Sloan was good other than the fact that it poured out that night. I was absolutely soaked!
Last night, Saturday, was the band I really wanted to see...The Headstones. They played for about 70 minutes, but no encore! I was pretty dissapointed about that. They didn't play "Fuck You" or "Three Angles" so I thought for sure they would do those in the encore.
I had seen The Headstones back in March and they absolutely rocked. Any other Headstones fans here?
Subject says it, what was the actual venue for this show? It's gotta be listed somewhere, but I can't find it. Thanks
ito
I'm very experienced in SHN, so I'm pretty sure it's not me, does everyone else notice gaps between some or all the tracks on the few shows being shared after the release shows? specifically, 7/18, 7/02, and I think 6/30 and 6/27 as well. It doesn't sound like people are using a program like CD Wave to split the original WAVs before creating SHNs, creating gaps because the WAV files aren't being split along CD sector boundries. Either that, or the SHN programs being used aren't functioning properly. It's still great to hear the shows, but I'd like to be able to spread them around, the shows really aren't tradable at the moment. Comments?
Whatt's the first album you ever bought, and do you still like that music?
Mine was "Rant 'n rave with the Stray Cats".....I still like The Stray Cats, i also like what Brian Setzer is doing with the orchestra.
To convert snh to mp3...I mean the .snh files are so big - and take a long time to d/l.
Anyways, I'm wondering if you guys know of anyway.
