Hey Everyone!

I'm wondering if anyone has an extra seat to the second Victoria theatre show on September 16.

On a hunch I called the Royal Theatre today to see if any tickets had been returned to them (via maxed credit cards) and they actually said very few extra tickets went on sale THIS MORNING but are now again, sold out. ARGGGHHHH!! Living on the mainland in Vancouver I wasn't able to catch the early morning announcement on Victoria's 100.3 The Q! I will check with the Royal again a day or two before the show, but it's looking pretty slim. I've contacted tons of ticket brokers in BC and Washington and nobody bothered to buy any tickets for any Victoria shows.

HERE'S MY PROPOSITION:

I have an extra seat for the Sept 15 Victoria show, within the first 5 rows right off the left/center aisle. Ideally, I would want to trade this ticket for a comparable one to the Sept 16 show.

If the trade route doesn't work, I'll end up selling my Sept 15 extra outside the front of the Royal sometime that day/evening, then I'll have to stick around an extra day in Victoria, lurking in front of the Royal trying to find a ticket to buy for Sept 16 (however I would love to avoid this scenario- I need to arrange more $$$ well in advance if I'm staying there an extra night).

If anyone has any ideas, please help!!!!

Sweet! I just bought tix for the first Toronto show at the Hummingbird on Oct 15th.

Ended up with: ORCH BB, Seats 49 &50

Sweeeeeeet!!

Now I just hope that I can go. But I figured it was better to get the tix first, and then worry about that later. If I can't go, I'm sure I can find someone to sell them back to!

How did everyone else do??

I was just wondering if anyone went to the show yesterday... and if so, how was it?!? Did the Hip get to play for a while??

Do you think it's appropriate to stand up? Being soft seat venues I wasn't sure if we are expected to stay seated the whole night. I have tickets that are 6th and 4th row for each of the Winnipeg shows and it's gonna be tough to keep my ass planted seeing the boys that close.

Ok, I was driving by Brandon, Mb and I was listening to the radio. I am not use what station it was but they had a contest to do with the American Music Awards and they mentioned The Hip? Does anyone else know about this? Anyone from Brandon on the board that could varify?

I would like to get rid of these tickets. Im extremly upset I cant go, but thats life right!! Im not looking to make a killing on these tickets, but I must recoup my costs. email me or get me on icq or msn if you are interested. If I dont hear in the next day or two, Im putting them on ebay or in the regina leader post and Saskatoon Star Phoenix. 2nd row 1st balcony. Centre of the Arts in not that big, so these are nice seats. They are better that 10 rows in on the main level. Anyway, let me know.

I have a question to ask everyone , why do people need to get so drunk and be such idiots. Such as the guy who hit his girlfriend in my section 401 or after the show a lady in the parking lot slapping and throwing things at what we believe was her husband ( since she said he was out and she had a good lawyer and i get the house ) So why the show was great and are we not all there to see the hip anyways. Maybe someone can help me. Thank you for letting me vent !
