I met someone today who works with the Hip, and I can confirm they have started working on their next album.

Unfortunately I have no more details other than that.....

Not going to get my hopes up yet, hard to say if this will be any good or just a rehash of material not good enough to make "The Division Bell"......

Rock veterans Pink Floyd are to release their first new album in 20 years.

The legendary band will unveil The Endless River in October, their first new record since 1994's The Division Bell.

The album is based on a series of tracks originally recorded in 1994 and previously intended for release under the title The Big Spliff.

Following the death of Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright in 2008, David Gilmour and Nick Mason headed back into the studio to expand on the existing tracks and add some vocals to the songs.

However, fans hoping the news paves the way for a long-awaited reunion tour from the band are set for disappointment - a spokesman tells British newspaper The Sun on Sunday that the rockers will not be hitting the road to promote the album.

Gord talks about a red canoe attached to the top of his grade 5 teacher's car. The teacher's wife was called Grace, so he named the canoe Grace too.
I thought it was one of the "Live from vault" shows for sale on maplemusic but apparently not, although there are some really good shows on there.

Oh and hey , my avatar is relevant again! lol

Hey everyone! Looks like I may be headed to Ottawa this September. Was wondering if there are any Basers in the city who have some local advice! Where to live? What to do? Is it cheaper to live in Gatineau? Do weekly Hip concerts in Ontario still happen ... ?
